Dig your heels in babyphoenix! I completely agree that a hospital birth will not help prevent PND. Tell your consultant that hospitals make you anxious or depressed and it's that that will affect your chances of PND. Like Mellie said, if there's no physical risk to you or the baby, there should be no reason to force a hospital birth.

I've got mine this afternoon, got my chocolate and jelly beans at the ready for a little sugar rush to make sure it moves! It can be a bit quiet in the middle of the day, when the scan is, I think it's because I'm moving a lot. It seems to get more lively when I'm still.
Hopefully, by the end of the afternoon I can stop calling baby 'it' and use a gendered pronoun!
