Snap babyphoenix! Ive spent most of the day on the laptop :/ feel like my iron levels have buggered up again but i keep forget to take my tablets so its my own fault! Defo need to pull my finger out and start getting the house sorted for PJ but dont know how when im gonna have a 2 year old under my feet all day for the next 6 weeks haha!

I'm officially finished work so I now join the ranks of not doing much all day! I'm going to enjoy it for a while and potter doing general housework that needs tidying. Still got to find a family holiday for the beginning of August too.

I'll probably treat the school summer holidays like I usually do (lazy and spontaneous), but once the kids go back, I've decided I'm going to get myself into a weekly routine of e.g. cleaning the bathroom on a Monday, living room on a Tuesday or whatever, so that will hopefully help when the baby arrives.

Leaving work was odd, my friends cried and I didn't. It didn't actually feel like I was leaving. They gave me a nice basket full of baby goodies, including a baby grow that my cousin has that I'd been saying I liked. I got bits and bobs of presents off other people too which was lovely.

I'm now starting to research baby buying in earnest! Looking for a crib or cot that I* can convert into a cheap co-sleeper is my current project.

*If it involves a saw or anything, 'I' means 'my dad' haha!


oh - is the FB page one that my other FB friends will be able to see I've joined?

I know, but I don't want my friends to see I've joined it at all, I haven't announced on FB yet. Keep putting it off. I'll probably just stick to posting on here.

I dont think they can. My boyfriend had no idea I'd joined it until I mentioned it to him yday and hes a proper Facebook addict! Haha

I double checked on my husbands account and you definitely can't see any posts or members on it! I don't want the nosey people of Facebook to know my ins and outs of pregnancy

Converting one into a co sleeper sounds good. Gives you something to do too during all your time off.

Erm sorry but sometimes it does come up in other peoples recommended groups saying that you're in it! Better safe than sorry.

Girls just to ley you no the facebook page is hidden, so only you can see it. No one can see that youve been added to that group etc, and no one can see posts as its a closed group and private xxx

Yes no one can see the posts or whatever but sometimes it does come up on your friends "recommended groups" that they join a closed group and it says "<Your Name> has joined". I learned this when I made the closed group for another forum. Someone's friend pointed it out to her and said "I can see that you've joined this group you might want to ask the admin to make it secret".

So it can happen.

I think if you go on your honmepage, down the side were it says recent activity, you can click it, press edit and you can change it to hide from friends, or 'only me' and then its hidden Ive just done it on mine xxx

Njp finally u have joined me in the lazy summer that ensues!! Haha.
Im the same thinking in terms of cleaning rota etc but i plan to do a lot more cooking lots of lovely home made meals from now on (even though i jist ate a burger king oops)

Lovely that u got gifts i didnt feel like i was leaving either and didnt cry but might hit us in september when we have nowhere to go!! Ha.

At 3am this morning we lost our gorgeous boy, weighing 3lb 6oz at 22+6.

Won't go into all the details just now as the thread may appear.

Fortunate enough to have some time with him, before he was taken away, so we were able to say our goodbyes.

Tired both physically and emotionally.
