*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

Katie did u not ask what that meant hun??

NJP that sucks I'm so desperate for the summer hols. Found out yesterday have a lesson obs first thing Mon morn that's my weekend bufferedup :-/ hope u all have lovely plans.

Should I be worried that I haven't felt anything yet???? :( xx

I haven't felt anything yet, not planning on until about 26 weeks due to my stupid placenta :(
Thought I might have been bleeding earlier, but it looked like old blood as it was dark. Hope it wasnt anything as I should have gone the hospital for an anti d jab but I was stuck at work instead.

Thats terrible that they kept you waiting without saying much, your hospital sounds very unorganised today.

I had no idea who to ask - it was only a case of have the scan and go home. Going to see midwife on Tuesday to refer me to different hospital so will ask her if she can explain more! Nobody seems to know what they doing - for both scans they haven't actually written measurements etc in my notes - just stuck it on a piece of paper so hopefully the midwife can make out whats going on. As soon as i seen the bit that said bleed i doubled checked to see if they had mixed my notes up :/

At least you're seeing your midwife soon, hopefully she can clear it all up for you :)

Fingers crossed! Getting fed up of these hospital visits that make no sense! :-(

Oh Kaa, that's a pain. Hope you get it planned early and can spend some of the weekend relaxing. You have no reason to worry about not feeling anything yet, my apps say between 16 and 22 weeks, however, I know I'd worry if it was me. Not because it does mean something is wrong, just because it would be something to worry about. I feel mine infrequently, can go days without feeling it and I start to worry then, even though I know it's common this early not to be feeling it regularly.

Katie, your hospital sounds shambolic, don't blame you for wanting to move!

Oh right well definitely see what mw says then that hospital is rubbish!!

Mellie u should have gone n got checked out I thought any bleed can be dangerous if u need anti d jabs?!

Thank goodness it's my last nqt one. :-/ that's a little more reassuring just bit depressing when keep reading about everyone feeling movements n I'm like aw not fair and then it turns to worry especially as had pains all yesterday. Presume uterus stretching which is surely a good sign so fx all is well at least have our scan on Tuesday so will know soon enough xx

Kaa I wouldn't worry about movements Hun! It was further along when I felt my daughter and only now at 20 weeks I am starting to feel little kicks and pokes - but I can't feel all of them! Was strange watching baby on screen and not feeling a thing! :-)

Ah sorry Katie happy 20 weeks for yesterday!!
I know I won't feel much yet anyway but I'd love a "flutter" that I know 100% is baby inside ha xx

Kaa, do you know where your placenta is yet? That can block the feeling of movements. You're up early for a weekend, on the planning already?

I usually love the weekends but I feel bored already, because I feel ill and can't do anything strenuous like a nice big dog walk and can't even be bothered doing anything lazy like googling to find our summer holiday or reading my book, so I don't know what to do with my day. Even a Modern Family TIVO marathon doesn't appeal.

I think the baby keeps playing football inside.....I assume its that. All I can feel is pain! Couldn't stand up earlier it hurt that much :(

I have no idea yet but my scan is on Tuesday so will find out more then. I was up early prepping for Monday still nowhere near ready but got friends round today/tonight for bbq so had to stop to clean up then we going shopping then food prep then get ready. So will have to wait til tomorrow now :(

Ouch mellie hope all is ok. I had bad pains all day Thursday :-/ xx

BBQ sounds like a great idea! It's lovely weather here for it, but the missus is at work until late on in the evening. You'll get a great lesson planned anyway, you've got all day tomorrow.

Mellie - could it be ligament stretching pain? If not, you've got a star striker growing in there, lol!

I have to bend over or lift my knees up when I cough, or I get horrible ligament pain. Cough seems better than yesterday but still horrible. Just glad I'm not in work, I'm having a very lazy day.

Seems a lot more painful than ligament stretching. Pretty sure he was playing football with my kidneys earlier!

Naughty boy! I only feel mine a little bit in the front at the moment, have the delights of that to come!

I just managed to waste an hour and a half on geoguessr. I got a great score on it, but still!

Lazy day sounds amazing I've not stopped and am shattered how will I make it to 11pm for kick off??@!! Haha.

Ligament pain is awful I have to hold myself a certain way when sneezing and blowing my nose haha xx

Lazier than intended - just woke from a two hour couch nap. :D

Sounds like what you need Kaa, to get through to kick off. Stepson informed me that there are 4 matches on today. So glad we got him a TV for his bedroom this year! Though once my wife comes home I assume she'll be glued to the footie too.

Talking of ligament pain, have you sneezed while driving? I couldn't shift into a position to prevent it and just had to sneeze then scream!

My naughty boy is probably kicking me all over, but my placenta blocks the front kicks so instead I get the delightful kidney kicks instead.

Im jealous of all your lazy days, I've just got home from a 12 hour shift and I'm back in tomorrow at 6.30 :( my weekend is Monday and Tuesday this week instead.

I love that game, used to play it with my uni friends. We're all geographers so that is our idea of great fun! Haha

Mellie, it's awesome! I got a 5000 score today and a 4999 one, was yards away from the places in both cases. It was let down by a 40 score though, as I (yet again) confused South Africa with Australia- in the absence of any signs, I get the red dusty scenery mixed up.

My wife thinks I'm a proper geek for playing it but I love seeing places I'd never think to google streetmap and sometimes it surprises me what places look like.

Morning everyone, well didn't get to see the England match but glad I didn't stay up for it as we looked quite bad lol.
So instead woke up at 4am and watched the highlights lol... Now siting here with partners two kids, and had a bit of an emotional night last night I kep crying because I just feel like because this isn't his first child that he's not as rxcited as me, I want to feel like he will love this baby just as I will love it but I think I'm starting to get like this for a reason!!

And then because he's starting a new job on Monday and I frightened they won't let him have the time of work to come to the scan which means I'll have to go on my own :( xxxx
