Hi all, I'm 14 weeks tomorrow but thought I would pop on tonight in case I don't get chance tomorrow.
Baby is due 18th November. I'm so excited, got a teeny tiny little bump already just can't wait. My 20 weeks scan date needs to hurry up and arrive as I want to know what I'm having (im so impatient!!)

My due date is 25th November!
I have my 20 week scan booked in for 23rd June! (I will actually only be 18 weeks)

Hi ladies hope everyone's ok!?
Could I join your thread please? Had 12 week scan yday and we're due November 15th!
Bit of a shock as we thought 25th of November at earliest! Lol! But all good!
We're having an early gender scan on the 9th of June (we did it with our first to!) too impatient ha ha! But our 20 week scan is June 30th, which coincidentally is our son Tristan's, original dd! He was eventually born July 2nd 2013

Mellie, I'm due the same date as you! I wasn't originally, but my scan has changed things a bit.

Katie, that's a good bump you have now. I haven't taken any bump photos - with my last pregnancy I started religiously from 4 weeks, this time I haven't bothered at all.

They are definitely not as cute. I always come out of the store close to tears clutching my little girls clothes thinking thank God it's a girl because boys clothes SUCK!! Lol. I would still love her if she was a little boy though of course would just have to try extra hard to find cute boy stuff (and probably not spend as much money tbh)

My friend tried to tell me about cute boys clothes with pirates on....just doesn't interest me like the girls clothes. Plus if its a girl she'll a ready made wardrobe as my sister in law had a girl in January so we get all the clothes! (This is the main reason why I think it'll be a boy! Haha)

Hello. Just thought id pop in amd say hi. im due November the 16th and on the 3rd June my partner and I find out if we are having a boy or girl. Hope everyone is doing well and babies growing nicely xx

Aww I think little boy clothes are lovely! Little chunky cardies and jeans. If I have a girl she's getting some boy clothes anyway, some of the boy things are really just unisex, like yellow t shirts withdinosa urs on - why are they boy only? I have already told people to go easy on the pastel pink if it's a girl. I like little girl clothes too, but not frilly fancy stuff.

Am yet to buy anything at all, baby phoenix your stash is getting big!

Before I got pregnant I was advised to come off one of my 2 psychiatric medications as there was an increased risk of cleft lip. She said I could stay on my other one as there was no evidence of risk (I've also looking online and couldn't find any evidence of risk). So I came off one and stayed on the other.

Next appointment she suddenly decides she wants me off the other medication too. "Just in case". To cover her own arse basically. I told her I would think about it. And I decided no I didn't want to as I'm very unstable without.

She sent a letter to my doctor saying I'd agreed to come off it! I told my doctor no that was not what I'd said. This was a few months ago now.

Went into doctors today and he told me that my psychiatrist had sent a letter saying to start taking me off it now, and instructing him to half my dose immediately. Her argument was withdrawal symptoms in the baby!!! I'm only 16 weeks!!!

I cried my eyes out in the doctors surgery and I'm going to ring up tomorrow demanding to be seen by a different psychiatrist. I wanted to come off my medication anyway at about 30 weeks maybe as it makes me sleep for 10 hours straight which obviously isn't great with a newborn. But as I was coming off it I want support and I want to try to work with psych to find something that will work for me that I can take whilst breastfeeding. But I've been discharged from the service too as I missed two pointless appointments with a psychiatric nurse (basically they wanted me to pay £7.00 in public transport fees and travel for 40 minutes so she can ask me how I'm doing, and I'm far too exhausted for that but kept forgetting to cancel appointments).

But yes I'm so annoyed with her decision without consulting me at all. I do not feel okay coming off my medication now as my moods are unstable enough being pregnant I don't want to have to deal with all that other shit alongside it!!

I agree Nicejuicypear I've really enjoyed buying boys clothes this time I'm not a fan of pink myself so I got fed up of all the pink dresses and headbands! She did look beautiful when she had them on but she's not majorly girly & she where's more red and purple clothes now!

Here's our pile of baby bits from a few week back.

We've got a few more clothes for him now and now just need some more clothes pram, cot, nappys and little bits!

Saved a lot of money this time as I haven't turned crazy and bought every single baby item out there.. It's amazing the amount of stuff company's sell that aren't really needed!
