***North East Meet***

I was going to wait to do this so it doesn't get confusing with all the other meets going on at the moment but thought if we do want to do it people may want to have a bit of notice about where/when so what the hell we'll do it now...

Ok I guess the first thing to do is decide a date for this.

I don't want to organise on same dates as the other meets cos I want to go to a couple of those too and sure others will as well.

Scottish meet: 10th May
Birmingham meet: 15th August
York meet: undecided

So just jot your ideas down here on which month you think would be best and we can go from there

You can put suggestions down for locations too if you can think of anywhere which would be good for us to take LO's too

Yey!!! I really can do anytime - especially if up in North East as I wont have far to go. I live in Washington but I am pretty mobile and can get anywhere.

Maybe July or August might be better because of all the other meets.

I can make some suggestions of places, but I can get anywhere really and have no preference...

Jesmond Dene - Newcastle (next to metro station, has animals, cafe, playarea)
Saltwell Park - Gateshead (has playpark, animals and cafe)
Preston Park - Middlesbrough (similar)

I was thinking July would be a good time, especially as York one looking like June. That would allow for a month between meets.

Preston Park in Boro is lovely Like you though as long as it's within the Northeast anywhere is pretty easy for me to get too

Its a maybe for me. I'm going back to work in July but don't have date of return or days going back decided yet (not me that's causing the hold up).

I would definitely be more able to come if it was by or near the East Coast mainline - Durham, Newcastle, Darlington. Otherwise, maybe I could make it, but it would be much harder.

ooh count me in, nearly missed this thread! Im due the end of June though so guess I will have to bear that in mind depending on what location we all pick.
