(can’t remember if it was flashy or static and hubby locked it in the bathroom with him lol)
I’ll check after he’s out! But I will ovulate earlier this month I hope and hopefully a shorter cycle please body!!!!

Update lol. He’s out and yes it was a static face! Really weird as yesterday was completely negative... not much warning!! The other cycles I used these tests on I had 2 days of flashy faces first.

What LH system are you using and do you like it?

Hi! I’m using the clear blue digital advanced opk. They’re expensive but if you can get away with using only a few test sticks a month it doesn’t work out too bad I guess. I got 2 large boxes on an amazon prime sale.

This cycle I started using cheapie strip opks early in cycle and then tested with the digital when my lines started getting much darker, so I could use less digi test sticks. Worked out well as only needed 3.

It’s only my third cycle using the digi and I really like it because it tells you on the screen the results. No need to try and work out if the test line is darker than the control line on those strip opks. They can be hard to read sometimes!!

I did also test with a cheapie this afternoon as I thought the digi may have been wrong but nope! I got a super dark line so we’re good to go!!! Had already covered a couple of times over the weekend. Did AI today and either dtd or AI tomorrow depending on how we feel. Didn’t get much notice this month as didn’t think I’d ovulate until c16 or later again!!! Oh well!!! 2ww is almost here for me then!!!! Please please be our month!!! I can’t take another month of disappointment!

Could you make sure you have lots of tests in Sarah and test daily from the 5th? I know that could be a bit of a strain emotionally but like you say at least you would know for your blood thinners

Yes good idea. I'm going to bulk buy some. I am so nervous due to high risk but I wanted baby number 2 then my family is complete. This will be my 5th pregnancy so hopefully this bean will stick X

Yep with fmu for best results But I don’t think it hurts to use it later in the day if you forget, as long as you haven’t had too much to drink/avoid peeing. It’s another reason I prefer them as Im always thirsty so it’s hard to drink less during the days xx

Oh good to know! Yes that’s why I wanted to use them because I didn’t want to spend half the day dehydrating myself!

I’m a bit confused on my cycle and when to Test. Last month I ovulated cd18 and Af arrived exactly 14 days after this. This month I ovulated cd15 so I am 11dpo today. What I don’t know is if I assume af is due on 4th based on 14dpo like last month or due 6th based on last months cycle being 30 days long?

This is only second month off the pill and ttc so still all really new. I don’t want to do my FRER too early and I’m just really anxious about poas this month. Part of me wants to test early but the other half just wants to wait to see if AF arrives. Any advice please? Xx

I think it's 14 days from ovulation, so if you know ovulation date then AF is always 14 days after that. Problem is most people don't know exactly when they ovulate.



I'm driving myself mad, I'm only 4dpo and convincing myself I can feel symptoms. I have definite symptoms, I stood up for dinner a moment ago and had really bad cramps down below, however - although I know that did happen, I also know that it can't be a pregnancy or implantation symptom as it's way too early - doesn't stop that other part of me thinking it though! I just want to be prepared for not being pregnant so it doesn't hit me really hard when/if AF arrives.

For me I usually always get to 14 or 15dpo then AF is here. So my cycles are longer when I ovulate later. So you should be due at 14/15dpo regardless of previous cycle day/lengths.

I always wait to test when AF is late now (which is never, but I can only dream...).
It’s so disappointing to pee on a stick and get a negative when it could be too early anyway. But I’ve been trying a long time!
