No name getting there tho. We have settled on a middle name haha. (id like two middle names hubby says only 1) for sure it will be Suzanne as a middle name

I think im more emotional now then i was when pregnant!! how crazy is that? I decided i would sing to her this morning (i used to sing frozen 'show yourself' and get a reaction when i was pregnant) made me want to cry this morning -

i hear this from a lot of people that emotions after birth are worse! X

contractions and tightenings before bed last night, woke me up a few times then from 2.20 they were every 7-10 mins, I thought this is it! Carried on like that for 3 hours, I couldn’t sleep told dh I think this might be it but not to rush home from work as still early. Decided to get up at 5.30... they started getting further apart then stopped about 7.30.

Either way its not long till you have little one in your arms, and hopefully you will avoid a induction.

Ugh I had a few of those as well, even getting to 2 minutes apart and still nothing. I tried nipple stimulation the day before I gave birth so might be worth a try? I don't know if it helped but it really got my contractions going! Then they stopped an hour after I stopped the stimulation. The following morning I had my bloody show and gave birth that day! Good luck hun!x

@soffphie Post-partum is definitely a million times worse in terms of tears than pregnancy. It's normal x

Stay positive, you've got 2 full days for things to start up! It must be frustrating but your baby will be here soon x

It's ok, baby still has time come on their own! But don't worry if they don't, being induced really isn't so bad. At least you'll have a baby very very soon! x

2 days is still a long time. You really can go from nothing to holding a baby in 24 hours! Stay positive! I know that no one wants to be induced but plenty of women have positive induction experiences.

Went into hospital at 3.30am and was 5cm, by 5.45 I was pushing and he was born at 7.45am 11th May weighting 7lb 8oz, I’ve got a few tears due to him coming so quickly but nothing major.

the hypnobirthing was amazing, I’m sure that was why it all happened so quickly and I did the whole thing without any drugs or gas and air at all.

still in the hospital until he feeds, he wasn’t interested after birth, too tired and he’s sleeping now.

Aw massive congratulations, he's gorgeous, and massive props to you for doing it without even the gas! I couldn't even manage cervical checks without the gas and air haha. I'm really happy that you got a lot out of the hypnobirthing! x
