kjdx - Sorry about that experience. After my 12 week scan with a sonographer and was told I needed one with a consultant, she suggested that I bring someone along in case I missed anything. I didn't find the consultants as friendly as everyone else. Both consultants I've seen were very distant and clinical. Efficient, but no warmth at all. Apparently that's common. A good friend of mine is a consultant, and I don't think I'd recogniser wearing that mask because is one of the warmest people I know. I wish I could have the sonographer back.

I was very lucky with my consultant but they knew the effed up before I went in the room. We had been waiting over an hour coz they forgot to add us to the queue! Then a nurse took my bloods asked the main reason I was there I said recurrent mc at 7 weeks she then asked howhat far I was I said 8 weeks. She then apologised profusely for me having to wait in a room with huge bumped women for nearly 2hrs! As I threw up twice waiting the consultant prescribed me odansetron too.
But there is another girl on here I've been following who was joint led like me at my hospital and she's had a rotten time with her consultant but she saw a different one to me!

I've got to admit girl's...... I'm a little disappointed
I've always had very vivid dreams that have always bordered on epic movies...... but last night..... i dreamt I ram out of butter.... I had two tubs in the fridge but both were nearly empty!

I feel cheated lol... especially coz only one of the two tubs in my fridge is bordering on empty lol

oh im so hormonal today! already cried once at work from a comment made by my office manager, that angry i rang my propa manager and got everything cleared up by her!

my dreams are weird and make me giggle, altho the one i dream i had in which i saw my OHs mam and dad (both passed) was comforting saying how proud they were of him etc. i had to tell him but was in floods of tears. im quite connected with the past but only through my dreams and sometimes i can smell them near me if they had a certain smell to them when they were alive.

i cant wait to feel my alien move im not sure if i already have or if its just trapped wind haha, had some pains in my tummy last night up near my ribs, not sure if the baby is just growing and its growth pains they have gone this morning.

I have the most bizarre dreams, some make my OH think I am going mad.
The other night I had a dream that had my dog who passed away just as we found out we were pregnant and my brother who passed away 9 years ago in it. It was lovely, I woke up feeling like I had really seen them and spent time with them. I held my dog and cuddled her and it felt so real.

Xjdx, that sounds like a stressful appointment, glad they found baby happy and well xx

Last night I dreamed about a giant sugar beet, the size of a dog... I'm weird!

I've also concluded it wasn't the jam tarts making me ill as my husband is ill now and he hasn't eaten any. No idea where we have picked a bug up from as we aren't very social haha. I'm feeling much better today so at least it was a fairly short lived thing. Hoping to feel little one again tonight, the last two evenings my stomach has been too churny to be able to feel anything else.

i had a tummy bug snowbee a few weeks ago, i wasnt sick, just churning tummy, bad stomach cramps etc. wasnt nice took a few days to get over where as the OH got over it in 24hours.

im now having a panic attack, ive concluded today is not my day and i should have stayed in bed!

My dreams come and go. But when I have them they are vivid and include people from different points in my life, mixing people who have never met each other. It's crazy. They are so vivid that the emotions are fresh when I wake, but I can't always remember the details.

Felt more movement this morning than I have before. It was so nice and at a time it was needed. Bus was late, countdown bus time app wasn't working, then much more traffic than normal, only for the bus to breakdown. But my frustrations dissipated as soon as I started feeling the baby. It seem that the baby likes the vibrations, I think. I felt quite a bit of movement yesterday morning when on the tube, too. Or the little bean is just a morning baby. I'm not feeling much of anything later in the day.

oh im so hormonal today! .

Me too! It hasn't helped that I went to see Arrival this morning (alien movie) and it was very emotional and had a baby/child in it. Now I'm randomly filling up.

Sounds like a killer! I think I'm starting to get attached to baby and it's making me like this. Although I can be quite bad anyway!

Totally off topic. I have a secret santa gift to buy. The budget is £10 but I don't mind spending a bit more. Its for my nephew who is in his twenties. Any ideas? xx

I can hardly think of what to buy my own family let alone come up with an idea for yours Lisey, I'm so rubbish sorry!!

So my new midwife just left I'm 16 weeks today and got to listen into the heartbeat - 144bpm. She seems lovely and even took the time to book my next appointment with her which will be on the 23rd Jan. My dog had the best curious reaction to hearing the heartbeat love him! I feel slightly more pregnant now I've heard the heartbeat, she found it straight away.
