May mummies and rainbows to be :)

We're hopefully going to do a payment plan so want to get on with it so there's less of a big payment at the end.

Plus, this time next month, I'll be half way through!!!!!! so really want to be organised with getting bits and pieces!

Ah makes sense x ibe hot so many expensive things to buy car repairs new laptop and potentially new washing machine. So a lottery win would be quite nice about now lol x lol

Betty, I know what you mean. With my little boy I was so impatient to just have the baby already. When I decide I want something, I just get it, none of this waiting malarkey.
It felt like the whole 9 months lasted forever!

I guess its feeling worse for me as I've just been put back 3 days too.

I'd like 2 children like you Emily, one of each. I spent most of last night reading the birth announcements section on here, saw yours too, it was lovely to read xx

I've been full of cold for 3 or 4 days now feel so rough just want to crawl back into bed so much housework to do tho and got to go food shopping and occupy the kids lol

Happy 16 weeks Emily. How did pram shopping go?

We ordered ours today :) I look every so often to see if its on offer anywhere as it would cost over £1000 with the carseat and the isofix base. Found it on mothercare last night with free car seat and with extra £135 off so saving £265, silver cross are hardly ever reduced so we went to have a look today, loved it and have ordered, so exciting xx

Seems to be lots of colds around, hope everybody feels better soon xx

We've decided on the oyster.

I'm going to call and order it tomorrow. It's so light and gives us everything we need. I love it!!

Feeling like poop right now but hubby has buggered off to his man cave so looks like I'll be cooking the tea then! I know he doesn't get much free time to himself and I normally don't mind doing the Sunday roast while he goes for a walk or potters in his man cave but I'm feeling so rough today, I could just do with having a rest!

Hi everyone, sorry I'm just catching up, I've been ill since Thursday with the Norovirus. Actually my whole house has. Anyway I've been reading your stories about oxo cubes and pram buying.
I'm really stuck about my Pram, my son was born last August I bought a quinny moodd and maxi cosi pebble which was over £900. I'm in two minds whether to reuse it again. I'm 16 weeks today and have two appointments next week. Hope you've all had a good weekend xx

I'm so unsure about the pram I love love love my graco but coz the car seat is out of date and I've lost the carry cot it will be £140 to get the new bits I can get a new one on offer at 199 or there is this other brand I've seen which has a much better carry cot for £170 Inc car seat carry cot and buggy seat. I just wish I could try it out. If I went for that id poll use the carry cot and car seat but but when the any was big enough for the seat bit probably go back to the graco. But it's a cheaper brand. Mind you its supposed to he 399..... im not a fan of the 3wheeler prams and the silver cross wasn't my cup of tea. I looked at the icandy but the basket seemed far too small. I dunno I'm too fussy lol.

You know what call me slow but I've just twigged something to bring up with my consultant. And my cardio. Last yr my heart swelled up coz my immune system went into overdrive and attacked it they asked if anything like this happened before. I said no. But I just realised what a huge stonking lie that was. When I was 16 -18 nearly all my organs at some point had excess swelling ato the time it wa's just put down to to viral infections but I bet it was to do with my immune system. My appendix liver spleen kidneys all got inflamed at various times. Can't believe I've not put 2 and 2 together for so long! Posting here as it will remind me!!

Oh no, that sounds awful xjdx, hope you're all feeling better now.
Ery, its hard to find the perfect pram, I don't like 3 wheels either. The basket underneath mine (silvercross) is pretty small but the pushchairs that had larger ones looked quite bulky and not as easy to manoeuvre, I need it so that I can hold on with one hand and hold on to dog lead on the other. There seem likes lots of lovely options though, have you been into a store yet to have a look?
The oyster looks lovely Emily :) xx

It is really nice. It comes in loads of colours too although I think we're just going to go with the chrome chassis and black fabric. The carry cot can be used for overnight sleeping so is perfect for when we go and stay away from home to visit Hubby's family. Plus, it'll be perfect for baby to sleep in during the day and we can just pop it on a moses basket stand if we wanted to. It's expensive, nearly £700 but we're going to try and pay off some decent installments each month which will help to spread the cost.

I've got my 16 week MW appointment tomorrow. Does the pee sample need to be fmu or a fresh one or doesn't really matter? Need to find my pee pot too!

Can't believe I've got to this point! There were times when it honestly felt like we never would.

Which model Silvercross and Oyster have you gone for ladies?

I'm browsing... I've got a list of requirements now so that should help to narrow it down. I would like parent facing, full handlebar rather than the one at each side, I would like a pretty colour but that isn't essential. None of our cars have the isofix so we need a car seat that can be used without.

I've got my pee pot waiting and ready for my appointment on Wed, I was going to just pee in it before I went, they didn't specify if it needed to be from a certain time of day so will be looking out for answers to that one Emily!

I like bulky ones lol they look really cosy! And I don't have to worry about boot space etc. I've only managed to look at the ones in john Lewis as that's where I work but they all cost a bomb! My car has lost all gears at the moment so its undrivable but soon as it's fixed then we'll probably have a look. Hubby's lappy broke so I need to buy a new one of them too and I need to buy my fireplace lol

Oh I also don't want one with three wheels.

I've been trying to find somewhere close ish that stocks a range to look at but as we are quite rural there isn't anywhere I've found yet. I'll google John Lewis stores and see if there is one of those close ish but I don't think there is. There is a toys r us but only a small one so don't know what they have inside.

You can phone the toys r us see if they have a babies r us section?

Ery, it always goes like that, everything happens at once!!
Snowbee, we have gone for the silvercross surf xx

We played with the oyster max at Glow and the Oyster 2 at Mothercare. The max can be converted into a double which we don't need but it has slightly bigger wheels which is better for us for dog walks etc. Other than that there's not that much difference between them other than little things like how the handle height adjust and where the pedal for the break is. I'm going to see what the price difference is for the complete system because I don't know that we would pay an extra £100 for slightly bigger wheels! Lol!

I have no idea what pram to go for :( I wanted the my babiie but just realised it isn't parent facing it's giving me a headache looking for prams lol can anyone recommend some? I want one that a carrycot can be attached to and a car seat and be parent facing in stroller mode. I had a graco with my boys well worth the money lasted both of them but was very bulky

I've just found the grace 3 lite which looks really nice
