I just want to get to 37 weeks so I can go to the midwife led unit and hopefully have a water birth! Feels so surreal sitting here waiting for something to happen, am excited on the one hand and bloody scared on the other! Got a final growth scan on the 24th so will be interesting to see what they estimate baby to be!

I've had this bag feeling all along I'm going to go early. By the end of the weekend I should be way more prepared but I haven't even started babies room organising and clothes washing (using a lot of dd1's stuff) or any hospital bags etc.

Had some bleeding on wiping earlier which worried me but it was just spots of bright red and nothing since so god knows!

Hi t84. I have had red spotting (tiny bits) three times this pregnancy. Last time only yesterday and all times it was a result of thrush. I didn't have any other symptoms, no itchy, some discharge but I just thought it was pregnancy. Apparently the gp said I keep getting it real high up. Might be worth mentioning to midwife next time you see them and they can examine you? Cxx

It's definitely exciting times! Hope you are all OK. Everyone's appointments going well? I thought baby was spinning the wrong way this morning but my notes say 4/5ths palpable which I think means 1/5th engaged?? It was another midwife today who I've only seen once before, I don't think I've seen my actual midwife since second appointment, it's understandable though as mine is off sick which can't be helped. She was saying again I have really good stomach muscles, and she makes me get off the bed by rolling over and sitting up to save my muscles, I don't really understand that?! but hey-Ho

In other news re the replacement nursery furniture ...they sent 2 boxes of the same thing so we don't have what we need to build the unit (a second time) now and that's just scratching the surface of all the issues urghh! By the time it's all in place I bet I can't move enough to organise the room haha!!

My OH only has his mum and she is perfectly normall, his older sister is 13 years older and acts like a second MIL but she isn't that bad, it's actually my mum who drives me nuts and I have to keep away from me sometimes!

I keep feeling ill go early. Last night I woke at 4am and got worried because he is usually awake moving loads then and wasn't but seems to have been moving fine all day. I got a haircut today for first time in about 6 months and it feels nice to look like someone who occasionally grooms themselves lol x

Anyone else struggling to sleep? I remember this happening with my son last time around and finding that as the end got closer I couldn't sleep at all. Tonight I went to be knackered, but have been tossing and turning all night and finally gave up and got up. Baby is having a good jump about and dog is snoring next to me, watching cooking , can do without this for the next three weeks ! Lol

Major heartburn has woken me up. Like so bad its hurting me. Rennie wont budge it. So I'm wide awake now. DD was at her safety gate calling for Daddy, he's a deep sleeper so had to wake him, and I told him she was calling for him and his response was What do you want me to do about it' is he for real?? Go and see what she wants you bell end!!! So he's put me in a bad mood and now I cant sleep. He makes me so damn angry sometimes. His attitude better well change or he's out!!

I cannot sleep . I went to bed early cos I was sooo tired ... Still tossing and turning alll night . I put some relaxing preg music on youtube and fell asleep for 2 hours .... Then my DD had a coughing fit . Several trips to the loo ... And restless legs makes me want to pull my own eyes out .

Had a breakdown last night and wanted to run away ... I ran to my garden and sat and cried for half an hour .... Hate being this ugly and fat . Hate being stuck in the house , cant even go out to a shop without being dizzy . I'm like a prisoner of my own body

Literally woke up after falling asleep for a couple of hours, with a crappy cough from nowhere, no cold or flu though. Feels like its from the throat, I'm not sure. DD has woken in such a mood. Going to be one of those days I think. Xx

So tired too. I'm struggling to get to sleep and then, when I do, I'm constantly waking up to go to the loo. DD also woke up at 5.30 this morning and so I've been up since then.

I've been so lucky with support I am getting. Hubby has agreed to pay for DD to spend an extra day in nursery every week to give me a break as I'm really struggling to keep up with her. My mum and FIL have both been great and come round to look after her now and then to let me rest.

As much as I'm dreading labour, I can't wait to get this baby out of me so I can feel comfortable in my own skin again.

I feel like a whale and am really concerned with how bad I'm going to feel about how I look afterwards. I've never had a flat stomach and always struggled with my weight. I'm now 3 stone heavier that I was when I fell pregnant and switch between hoping baby is 10lb and fluids a plenty, and hoping baby is small and easy! haha

Squeamers .... I'm dreading it !!! My belly was never flat after my daughter , but I lost a lot of weight 3 years ago and was co fident .... Now I'm the heaviest I ever have been and put on 2 stone . My belly has lots of new stretch marks and my vein in my leg is gross !! Tights wont cover that anymore ...

I'm really trying hard after for my own sanity to get to somewhere I feel ok in a pair of jeans ...im also not turning into a recluse this time . I literally forgot how to have conversations with people after my daughter and ran home crying from a night out because i didn't fit in with my friends anymore !

I'm going to try and make this summer a good one with baby! Xx

Hot(ish)bath and early night for me I think. I've had such a shitty day. I just feel like crap. Made a honey lemon drink. Need to feel better before labour arrives. That's bad enough xx

I have flu .... I'm struggling , calling the midwife today . The whole house has had some form of it. Mine is most severe and day 4 getting worse not better ... I'm frightened x

Oh no Birdo, hope it goes quickly. I'm about to ring doctors as I think my partner must have it, he has been sleeping for 18 hours and is all confused about where he is and can't keep food down x

I've had this cough come on suddenly and my daughter too. Shes snuffly so think hers is cold related but I feel ok with mine. No cold symptoms! Daughter was up being sick from coughing so I'm tired thus morning. She's in nursery so going to catch up on sleep. Plan was to clean and tidy but it can wait xxx

I must be very lucky as I haven't had it too bad. A few snuffles but that's it. Birdo have you spoken to your midwife yet? I hope everything is ok!!
Rose, that sounds quite scary if he's all confused. Has he seen a doctor?

I'm also lucky and have escaped any sort of cold over the entire winter, knowing my luck though I'll have it when I'm in labour! Just seen midwife, love hearing that heartbeat. Had my labour talk today, going to sort out a tour of the birth suite soon. Hope everyone feels better soon
