I just had my pre injections scan and we're ready to go ahead! Pill has done its job, no cyst (left over egg case) or hydrosalpinx this time, phew! Injections here we come!

Buserelin for 1 week starting tonight then add 2 stimulation injections (these 2 are more hassle than the Menopur but should produce better embryos apparently.) Then scans and blood tests week beginning 22nd September then egg collection end of September hopefully!

I've had so many 2WWs (over 40!) that they go quickly now compared to the years we've been waiting overall!

Had my first tracking scan and it looks like I'm going to ovulate in the not so good side this month. I've two 14mm follicles on that side and lots of really small ones on the other side which are unlikely to do much. Back to be rescanned Friday and I'll have to speak to the consultant about whether we proceed. I'm still unclear whether that tube is blocked or partially blocked or now open...urgh, just feels like the first iui everything was perfect and it worked and that was my one chance. Why didn't it work out, I'm so gutted

Oh that's really gutting. Will you still have to pay if you cancel? Not that its about the money. A colleague of mine had 2 blocked tubes and has just given birth after moving to a different country with her husband and giving up work! She didn't have treatment or anything. I'm not an advocate of the 'relax and it will happen' school but its amazing that she conceived in spite of the blocked tubes. Something must have got through. Its annoying for you though that you're having IUI and its the turn of the ovary on the dodgy side.

Cycle cancelled, arse. Consultant didn't think it was worth trying it and as she didn't do the lap or the hsg it's hard for her to know whether it would be a good chance or not much of a chance but she said really it's not worth it. So we'll try naturally and see, my lead follicle is lovely apparently, what a waste! Maybe it'll be mega egg and bash through any blockage! They refund all the money on a cancelled cycle so we haven't lost anything, hopefully next month the good side will do its thing xx

I am becoming a pincushion but was very brave and watched the injection last night! Onto 3 injections tomorrow, that will be fun! Feeling ok, the Buserelin doesn't seem to be affecting me too much apart from night sweats!

Clomid gives me night sweats so I feel your pain there! Well done for being brave

Well I have ovulated naturally finally after my 2 back to back cancelled cycles. Hopefully starting again in the next couple of weeks if we haven't got lucky naturally. Will do a test next weekend, feels like another 2ww.
