Yes mine felt enormous as well! 18 follicles at about 18mm diameter takes up a lot of space! And you have more follicles than I did!
I was told to expect discomfort again this week after collection because the follicles fill up again with fluid. Just to warn you!

Well my follicles are now up to 20mm and lots of 19mm. There's sooo many tho, too many. So hyper stimulation has come and bit me on the arse as it's looking like everything is going to take a bit longer. Egg collection is Monday but they may have to freeze all my embryos until a couple of months when my oestrogen levels drop. I've just had my blood taken so they are going to phone me shortly to let me know the results of those but they said they will know on Monday if we are going to go ahead with a fresh transfer. On a good note they said they have recently been looking into statistics about people who wait for their body to go back to normal and use a frozen transfer and the success rates are higher so may be a good thing xx

Sounds like a mixed bag Charlie so I guess you just have to go with what they recommend. What's the reason for your ohss? Is it because you have a high amh? I was told this might happen to me if we go to IVF. I hope you're not in too much discomfort xxx

I have mild pcos so that is a factor with it. Waiting on a phone call now to find out about my oestrogen levels, fingers crossed xx

Charlie - I'm ok thank you hun, feeling a bit bloated and tired but unsure if it's just the effects of the progesterone. The pessaries have caused thrush and it seems even worse in this hot weather so I'm feeling uncomfortable! But from tomorrow we will be half way through which is a scary thought lol. How are you?

Hi charlie, hope your oestrogen levels drop quickly, I had OHSS twice a few weeks ago (17 follicles but only 6 eggs ) and with the late onset OHSS was in complete agony for over a week, so I really hope you don't suffer that. Good luck with everything xx

They phoned to say my levels are 20,000 so pretty high still asked me to do a final stim injection which I didn't quite under stand, I'm clearly stimulated enough! I've woke up this morning feeling crappy!! Feel like my ovaries are stretched to their limit and every footstep is just painful where you in more pain after egg collection then? The nurse has already warned me I'm probably going to feel awful tomorrow after I've done my trigger shot tonight. Just want them out now tho as I feel really uncomfortable! Scheduled to have them out at 9am Monday so not long to go xx

I didn't get any signs of OHSS until after egg collection, I think the hcg injection set it off & initially I had a couple of days of super-bloating where I felt like someone had inflated a very large balloon inside of me, but that went away. However, when I was lucky enough to get the hcg levels rising again, that's when it all kicked off properly, starting off with vomiting then bloating until all my insides were in pain feeling like they were being crushed! I put on half a stone in about 3 or 4 days and looked like I was about 5 months preg! Fortunately after about 9 days it started to settle down again.

That sounds awful Charlie. 'Have them out..' sounds like a painful tooth or something. I really hope you feel better soon.
Our transfer went well this morning. Only 2 good embryos were left so we don't have any spare to freeze but that's all we need really. Got them both put in and we have a low to medium chance of twins apparently which is fine by me! Relaxing in the garden now, feel a bit dazed!

I inserted my oestrogen tablet and progesterone pessary then laid down for 10 minutes to give them a chance to absorb before I stood up and it was all fine. But then 2 hours later I went for a relaxing walk but could feel something coming out. When I got home lots of watery CM had come out including what looked like some of the pessary & blue tablet. Do you think enough of it would have got absorbed before it got flushed out? I've already lost one tablet in the loo but I want my embryos to get all the hormones I need!

Yeah they absorb very quickly 5 mins but the coating has to come out it will be fine

And this happened to me I ws upset but actually it worked out such a better cycle than last time I ended up with 15 good quality frozen and did get pregnant on a fet which ended in miscarriage but thats just one of them things and I still have 12 left so in hindsight I quite liked having a freeze all
