Good luck Charlie! My egg collection went well, it was scary and a bit sore but fine and they got 17 eggs! Embryologist called this morning and we have 8 embryos! Going for transfer on Saturday, they should know which are the best ones by then. Very exciting!

Yeah I had quite bad period like pains over the weekend and on Monday and have just been exhausted! Started my cetrotide now and was feeling ok until yesterday when I had a bad reaction to it, ended up with a bad rash and muscle pain about 4 inches higher than where I done the injection. Had to get allergy tablets and rest last night and feeling much better today next scan is Friday so am hoping I'll be ready to find out when they will do egg collection how much notice do you get for egg collection does anyone know? Xx

next scan is Friday so am hoping I'll be ready to find out when they will do egg collection how much notice do you get for egg collection does anyone know? Xx

I was told at the beginning of the cycle that we were aiming for egg collection on Friday 6th June. Then on my 2nd scan they said it would either be then or the following Monday.
By Wednesday 4th June she told me that my eggs weren't quite big enough for Friday so it would be the Monday.
Then because my Oestrodial levels weren't quite high enough I was given a prescription for extra Menopur but then on the Friday the levels were very high, I was told not to do the extra injection & to come in for an extra blood test on Saturday! Then she asked me if I felt nauseous or bloated to check I didn't have OHSS.
It wasn't until the results came back on Saturday afternoon that they said we were ok to go ahead on Monday! You feel like you're in limbo for ages!

Do you have an estimated date for your egg collection yet?

I've started my 1st IVF cycle. Was due to start stumps on Monday but have a cyst on my ovary so I'm on northisterone to bring in a bleed and check again

5dpiui for me, nothing to report really, mega bloaty today but I often get that when I've been sitting at my desk all day. Had a few sharp bum pains too just to keep me on my toes! Xx

No not been given an estimated date but it was my first scan on Monday and they said everything's moving on quickly so I was hoping it wouldn't be too long. I'm really uncomfortable now, my ovaries actually feel stretched! I work evenings so by the time it's time for work I feel ready for bed haha! Booked the next 4 days off so looking forward to it!

Yes mine felt enormous as well! 18 follicles at about 18mm diameter takes up a lot of space! And you have more follicles than I did!
I was told to expect discomfort again this week after collection because the follicles fill up again with fluid. Just to warn you!
