Hi ladies, I'm just waiting to start cycle #3 hopefully in about the next 7-10 days. Im off work for 18 days so feeling nice and relaxed, hopefully good time to start next cycle, hubby booked us 2 nights in London next week for my birthday so looking forward to a little break.

Miss j, glad you had a nice break...fingers crossed for getting lucky...

Sarah.. There is some cream you can get over the counter called EMLA cream, it's fab. Pop it on about half hour before though I got hubby to do mine to startby now I'm a pro at injecting myself. I got married in April, it was the best time of our lives, helped make us stronger for the treatment

Yes it's numbing cream, it helps. I actually didn't always use it, only towards the end when my estrogen levels went up and I was more sensitive.

I've ordered my drugs, going to pick them up tues..just need to tidy the fridge xx

I think I will get some. Then it might not feel like I am injecting myself! I had some years ago before an operation and the anaesthetist called it 'magic cream' ha ha!
The drugs do take up a lot of room in the fridge don't they? What are you on?

I'm going to be on 300iu menopur.
Buserelin too though not sure dosage yet and if once or twice a day... My friend had to inject twice a day on it..but only lived 15 mins from work, I'm a 45 minute drive out of rush hour so if I have to do twice a day I'm going to tell them I have to do shorter days during stimms!!!

It's a nightmare how much space they take up, last time I took the stuff out the boxes as had about 18 needles per box, lol

Aw lol missed you too minx! Yeah really hot, 42-47 degree heat, it was mad lol. But there was a lovely breeze every day so wasn't too uncomfortable.

Fx!! I'm feeling a bit crampy at the mo, did an ov test last night which was quite dark but not positive. Just going to bd and see what happens lol. X

I was on that but will be on a different one next time apparently. I never realized some people have to inject twice a day! It was bad enough doing pessaries in the morning!
That's a good idea, there were far too many syringes and lots of packaging!

Well today I have plan #3 , starting the suprecur tonight. Then menopur on Monday though they have given me the 75iu vials so don't know how to use them. Been on you tube as previously had the multi dose packs. Also I was confused as apparently you don't have to refrigerate the 75iu vials only the multi dose. It totally threw me. I've now gotta ring the ivf nurses tomorrow to ask for needles to mix my bottles up. Luckily I'm in London on Monday for our little mini break so can pick them up.

Did anyone else get any twinges the month after IVF? I think I ovulated whilst on holiday but I’m not sure which day, as they all ran into 1 and I didn’t do any OPKs. But now this week I’ve got twinges in the other ovary. I’m wondering if its due to all the eggs being sucked out last month causing tenderness or something. It feels a bit sore in other places as well.

I haven't felt any different this month and it's my first month after ivf. Just been wondering if I will ovulate on time etc after the hell I went through with ovhss. We went hospital on Wednesday for a little catch up as I was so sick last time I was there. They freezed 3 very good quality embryos so I'm happy with that. OH was intrigued to find out about his swimmers as a test before ivf showed low count and low motility so we would have been doing Icsi but they went ahead with ivf on the day and turns out his swimmers were grade A he was very happy haha!

We are waiting on 3 more periods and on the 3rd we will go ahead with a natural cycle and embryo transfer so will be around end of September xx

Hi girls, I'm off on holiday tomorrow and we have an appointment at the clinic the Tuesday after we get back to sign up to try iui again, hoping it'll be during August if my cycle gets back to normal after the miscarriage, certainly looking forward to our holiday and a change of scene xx
