Thanks! I hope so. She was just very dismissive but assume she cant tell me anything to get my hopes up. She said they cant grade them today but they were ok.. Don't like the word ok! Guess there is a chance that all stop growing but hopefully very small.

She also asked if I had thought about transferring 2 embryos so guess we will discuss this tomorrow as well. Not sure what I want. Would prefer not to have twins but if its twins it takes to get pregnant of course I do that!!

That's so unfair if the child doesn't even live with you Niknak.

I know of one lady on here who had a day 4 transfer but it must be rare. They wouldn't go to day 5 if they thought you wouldn't have any left. It's annoying she said ok but you're right, she wouldn't want to get your hopes up. Its good to be prepared though, on our first go we had loads left on day 3, were told we might have some for freezing so were really excited and then when we got there there were only 2 left at grade 2, it was such a let down. They might transfer two to increase your chances of one implanting. I am sure it will be ok, not long to wait now! What time is the transfer?

Thanks! she said they were doing something so not stopped developing at least and she could not give a grade since they dont do it day 4. Was an exception even checking but guess they thought it would keep me off their backs

Scan went really well today.
I have loads more follicles that have popped up and I have 7 that are 10mm.

No wonder I'm feeling so bloated.

Nik - I am so sorry to hear the witch seems to be on her way. I agree that it is unfair you can't get even one go on the NHS just because your OH has a child who doesn't even live with you. I hate the postcode lottery thing about IVF too as I am dreading having to find the thousands for next time.

Maria - I agree that she said they were 'ok' because she didn't want to get your hopes up. If she said they were great then something happened and they weren't, you may be very angry and upset! Not long to go anyway, eeeekkk!

It's about time we got another IVF BFP so come on ladies xxx

Is that the total number of follicles? I'm not sure to be honest.
I'm such a novice to all this and really don't know what I should be asking.

I saw Mel again today. Had a different lady for my first scan who was lovely but can't remember her name xx

Yes its when they count the empty follicles that have the potential to produce eggs.
Heard back from the hospital, blood test was fine so we can carry on, phew! Got another scan next week.

Great Blueflower! Happy there will be no delayes! When are they checking the embryos for any abnormalities?

Had thr ET and all went well. Not that painful at all and everyone is so nice! We discussed how many to transfer and the embryologist in the end recommended 1 so had a blasto ( think grade 4AB ) transferred and will be able to freeze one and maybe 2!

Might work from home Monday but not otherwise. They told me to continue my life as normal and not change things. They did not even ask me to lie down after so walked out straight after.

They asked me to have full bladder but forgot to drink so was not much in there but no issues and could see the embryo pop in . Why full bladder when i was fine anyhow?

What about you? Will you take time off?

Not sure about food but will try to eat healthy.. Tonight we are having pizza though is there anyting to absolutely avoid? X

A full bladder acts as a lens to see the uterus more clearly.
I wasn't told to avoid anything but some ladies have been told to avoid soft cheese, mayonnaise etc. I avoided caffeine and alcohol and didn't trampoline! My dad said I shouldn't get out of breath and not drive over potholes!
I will take a week off as my job is stressful and I want to give the embryo every chance of implanting.

Understand, i would have taken time of if my job was that stressful but since i wont be travelling for the next 2 weeks like i normally do i will be fine. Worked last week as well but at home.

I am so happy today! They called and they will freeze 4 blastos!! 1 was a little worse in quality 4BC but since the other 3 great they freeze that one as well!!!

yes, puts a little less pressure on this round since i have a couple spare. Will transfer 2 next time if this doesnt work.

Question, should i continue with Royal Jelly and CoQ10 after ET? I am still taking pregnacare which i suppose i will do until lucky enough to get pregnant?

Id stop taking all supplements other than pregnacare and whatever the hospital give you to take (if you take additional vit d3 then you can continue that too) xxx
