Ladies doing IVF or IUI - 2015 (9 BFPs!)

Not as good news today, most aren't developing as they'd like, only 2 are at the 6 cell stage and one I'd good quality and the other not so good. They said we can wait til Saturday but there's a strong chance we won't have anything to transfer. So we're going in this afternoon at 2.40. I think i'd like both put back in, will see if hubby is comfortable with that. Feel totally and utterly bummed

Try not to be too disheartened, the two that are developing well could well go all the way! I had two 4 cell embies put back on a day 2 transfer, 1 was perfect and 1 had slight fragmentation - obviously 1 of them has taken. Getting to blasto isn't the be all and end all. Good luck for your transfer today, try and be as relaxed as possible when they do it, it is a lovely moment to know those embies are on board and you might even see them on the screen xx

Oh thank you browneyed, exactly what I needed to hear, hoping hubby will be on board with putting both back at this stage. I just want them in me now so I can be with them even if they don't make it xx

On our way home with 2 embies on board! Both have reservations about putting 2 back but one is a good 3/3 embryo (4/4 is the best) and the other a 1/2 so really not good so we'll see! Otd is 11th so a full 2ww from today, I clearly will be texting before that! I have acupuncture at 5pm so that should help xx

Thank you, really struggling to stay positive, after lots of googling the odds really don't look good for a 6 cell at day 3. I know there's a chance but I feel kind of defeated already, will try and perk up!

Thanks, they said they will transfer one today that is at complete blasto stage. The others will reach the same stage later on today or tomorrow. They will ring me in the morning, I assume they will freeze them?! I have to be at the hospital for 12.30 for the transfer eeeek!! Xxx

We finally got our pack through now just waiting for our first appointment in July with the doctor to tell us what protocol we will be on. It's getting so real now x

Bit of a drama today. Didn't end up having the transfer until 3pm. There was a woman on the ward who was seriously ill from her egg collection they had to get an ambulance to take her to A and E . The embryologist was tied up dealing with that so it just meant a bit of a delay. Nonetheless I've got an egg getting nice and comfy hopefully xx
