Ladies doing IVF or IUI - 2015 (9 BFPs!)

...We are starting Ivf at the end of June. We were due to start now but I had to retake my rubella vaccination as the antibody didn't show up and the 2nd vaccine overlapped by 3 days. So annoying but probably for the best as it gives me more time to prepare. I am going to take 2 weeks off. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet but just loads of relaxation.
Has anyone read up on gluten intolerance? I was reading an article this morning and I have quite a few symptoms. Apparently. It can cause unexplained infertility so I might try and cut out gluten for a bit. It's crazy how many foods gluten is in! But it's worth a try xx

That's interesting Tiptoes, I have a dodgy tummy quite regularly, esp during the 2WW, doc says its IBS but to try eliminating things from my diet to see. Do you know much about it? I might try it for a couple of weeks and see but I think it will be hard! I wonder how gluten can have an effect on fertility?

I went gluten free for a while as we think my hubby is intolerant and I felt loads better for doing so, I can't see how it would affect fertility but it reduced my bloating and I had more energy etc, there are loads of gluten free recipes on Pinterest, it's not as hard to do as you think it is!
Dee I know it's hard but try not to google too much it can drive you mad hope you are doing ok for me the tww was by far the worse bit and I googled far too much!!

Hi Ladies.. im back on the roller coaster, had collection and transfer beginning of March but sadly af rocked up 9dp5dt 
Now starting Norethisterone tomorrow on cd 21 and have down reg app and first scan in next few weeks ready for my FET!

I felt just the same ladies it's soooo tough! Hang in there, don't be disheartened yet it's too early for any real symptoms, try to keep busy and your mind occupied as much as possible!!

Kkheartsbaby are FET always medicated? Which meds do you take ? Good luck xx
What are the odds with a FET? It's reduced compared to IVF isn't it?

We're having to self fund as we have a child already so it's very expensive and we said we'd try one IVF as we've spent £3000 or thereabouts on iuis last year already. Plus my hubby wasn't keen on IVF to start with, he's doing it for me, I was hoping we'd get something to freeze as that'd be my only bargaining tool for a second go really. After 3 years, a lot of tests and treatments, a miscarriage, an age gap expanding and him turning 45 and me facing 40 next birthday this really is our last chance saloon! X

I keep thinking that every little thing is a symptom. I was starving this evening, is that a symptom, I keep waking up early, is that a symptom, I felt a bit grumpy this morning, is that a symptom aaaarrgghhh!! xx

It's an awful lot of pressure for you Dee x why does it have to be so hard.... Did you have any trouble conceiving your first child? why is it so difficult for people who really deserve to get pregnant! Never give up Hun people get pregnant in their 40's and you don't know this has not worked yet xx you realise how precious life is and children really are a gift!

Thanks sweetie xx I conceived my daughter second month we tried with being drunk most nights and expecting it to take months! So it was such a shock this time when test after test revealed problem after problem. Just got to hope one of my little embies is a fighter xx

I dont have my FET schedule yet, app is on 16th and collect medication for hormone therapy, patches I think! The embryologist told us after my transfer when I still had two to freeze that the chances are half of a fresh cycle. I will find out if they are thawing one or both, im hoping for two back in! xx
xxApparently your body can't digest it and so it starts to attack your small intestine. It can deplete your body of minerals and particularly zinc which your body so needs to become pregnant. I've been googling it for the last few days lol..apparently if you have unexplained infertility you should be tested for coeliac disease. So I have booked an appt for the docs tomorrow so will let you know how I get on...event if it's not then I guess it's another thing eliminated. It's horrible wondering why, what's wrong with me when so many people get pregnant so easily. Had a bit of a down day today...haven't been like that for a while but it seems everyone around me is getting pregnant so easily....ah well our time will come soon enough

I'm hating the 2ww! Im 7dp3dt today and I've been testing out my trigger, Tuesday I had a feint but obvious line on a frer, yesterday it was a mega mega squinter, this morning the same. I feel a bit bummed as I'm assuming it's still the trigger and was hoping it may have got a teeny bit darker again. As I'm the equavalent of 10dpo I think there would be a feint but obvious line on a frer if it was a bfp :-/ Tomorrow will be a telling day, with my iui bfp last year it was an obvious bfp at 11dpiui. All my symptoms could easily be progesterone ~ sensitive nipples, bloating, heavy slightly crampy feeling low down, hungry so who knows...this is torture! X
