Yes if I were you Lisey I would try IUI, keep trying naturally then maybe IVF again if necessary then naturally again until you conceive again. I really feel that it will happen for you eventually. I have to tell myself that it will happen for us one day too.

Kitty, you will have to abstain from trying before the lap, I think it can be done any time of the cycle but not 100% sure, may not be good to be done during AF xx

Thank you. Does that mean if its done early, we can still TTC over O? I take it that means no clomid though....so who knows if Id ovulate anyway!

Cramping tonight, can only mean one thing......... Time to ring the clinic, start Iui medicated cycle this week!!!!

Excited, nervous, don't think it will work. Think it may work, scared that it may be the beginning of the end, happy that I'm one more step closer to meeting my baby!!!

I don't see why not but I doubt you would want to as can be quite painful after, although depends I think if you have anything done. I had endo removed so obviously made it more sore. I personally wouldn't waste a clomid cycle for the month you have the lap but that's just me of course xx

I didn't need anything done after mine but was too sore to do anything just due to the incisions, the rummaging, aching and bloating. You also leak dark blue dye! DH thought his thing would look like a Smurf but its mixed with blood too so isn't nice! Maybe you'll feel like it but I needed a week off!

I was feeling very down in the dumps as it feels as if our options are running out, but I feel a bit more positive again this week! We have scheduled an appointment with a new consultant for the 2nd week in July to discuss the embryo screening.

A new consultant might be just what you need, sometimes a fresh pair of eyes and ears can help, he/she might have some new/different ideas xx

Blueflower I agree with Lisey! Hopefully they will give you some positive news! This ivf/iui journey is so so tough!! I find it's the the whole unknown that is the hardest! Completely affects your life!!! Wishing you lots of luck!!!! Xx

Well I've been referred for the lap+dye. Shouldn't be too long apparently.
I asked about clomid and having sex before/after, he said it isn't an issue and that some women have turned out to pregnant even if they have it done later in their cycle.
Every single thing I've read online says to not TTC before lap and dye because egg and sperm will be flushed out....

I'm having ovarian drilling as well, which sounds delightful.

Before mine I had to sign something to say we hadn't had sex since my period without condoms! And they gave me a pregnancy test, very depressing! The dye can kill the embryo if you are pregnant but if that's the case you don't need the lap+dye anyway!

I had my lap before I ovulated so I did bd a few days after just in case it was a miracle cure but wouldn't have risked it before. Ovarian drilling sounds delightful indeed! X

Yes I remember having to abstain from sex b4 mine & they did do a test on the day of! Wow...ovarian drilling...I have never heard of that!! X

I'm a little nervous now. Sounds like he doesn't bloody know what he's talking about (or doesn't really care). The fact that no one has heard of ovarian drilling as well, maybe it's not something that is done too often...
