I bought a box of the vimto ones last week. There good! I had a cornetto, I'm addicted to those just now x

I had a spicy chilli made by my dad the night before I had Ella so maybe that had an effect - my dad feels really guilty about that now and keeps apologising saying he made her come early! Bless him

I've just had a mini twister lolly yum Not so great for the post-baby diet but I'm helping DH check his school reports which is v dull! x

Aww your poor dad.

I was wondering how long it actually takes to work if the hot curry works. I've had sore stomachs lots the last few days, at the loo lots too so maybe my body is starting the clear out lol x

Well if it was the spicy chilli then I had that at about 6pm on the Friday then my labour started at about 5pm on the Saturday so just under 24 hours later x

I think he just isn't ready to come out and meet me yet. I need to be more patient. Fingers crossed for my sweep to work on Thursday x

I get so bored on the ball but ive managed about half an hour so far.

I can smell the curry cooking now, if he adds the chilli's I will probably burn my Tongue off. Smells good though I'm not sure how he's going to handle it, I can handle spicy food better than he can hahaha xx

if i did this i would be killed by the heartburn lol my heartburn is still in full swing even fajitas come back to haunt me all night at the minute

It says in the book than when the baby drops your heartburn goes away.. is this not true? I've been looking forward to that day for weeks now

I think it's supposed to be true but I still get bad heartburn, I'm not sure if my bump has dropped though. It should have though since I'm due in a few days xx

oh you not got any photos of a couple of weeks ago and now? we could have a look and decide if it has or hasn't dropped. then we will know if this heartburn thing going away is a load of rubbish and just something they made up to give us false hope..

My bump has dropped and my bad heartburn eased. The only thing I still get is acid reflux when I lie down which is horrible. But I found that drinking less before going to bed eases it and if I do have a drink I just have plain water. I had been having a cup of decaff tea before bed - I don't think that helped the reflux! My breathlessness also improved after bump dropped.

I put a pic in the bumpy thread on Friday. I thinit might be a few pages back now cos others have uploaded pics now. And there's another a good few pages back from that lol. My oh thought it looked a bit lower tonight. I'll even try put one on tomorrow or something xx

Yep, is dragging for me, I feel like i've been off work for years (no bad thing!!) But just wish baby would come now!!!

Least I'm not the only one! I've been out of work since Jan because I lost my job and nowhere would employ me and I swear I'm slowly going insane!

its strange i actually feel ok about time the now its dragged for months untill i just thought a couple of days ago that im not going to wish the next 2 weeks away im just going to relax and enjoy them (well try) and strangley enough they going quicker

Thats deffo the right attitude Lou! Ive been obsessed with going into labour since 37 weeks and its dragged sooooo much, i wish i hadnt concentrated on it so much x
