***June Mummies 2016 Tri 2***

My mother's day was OK. Didn't get any presents but I did get breakfast in bed so I suppose that's something. Also LO made me a card at school. My wedding anniversary is Valentine's day and I plan a meal every year or we would do nothing. If you don't expect they may surprise you. Although in my house it's very rare.
I think I'm coming down with a virus today. Woke up with a burning around my lungs. My right lung feels very sensitive today. I don't think it's a chest infection as I don't feel I'll it just feels a tad funny.

Well here's mah belly at 26 wks... I think I look huge
Maybe it's because the placenta is anterior? Would that make a difference? xx

Oh and feel better love87 - hope it's nothing too bad!

Hope you're feeling better today love87, nothing worse than being ill while pregnant.

I think you look fab for 26 weeks yorkslass, I'm thinking it looks like a girlie bump at the mo :) I have an anterior placenta yet am tiny this time compared to previous pregnancies.

I'm off to the chiropractor today and praying it helps with the pain that has been steadily getting worse. On top of the sciatic pain I now have the kicked in the catch pain between my legs and my hips, back and thighs. Feel like I'm falling apart sometimes lol Also the car did sell yesterday so that's a huge weight lifted debt wise for us xx

Lovely bump yorkslass.
Fingers crossed the chiropractor eases your pain again Kanga. Pain is awful to deal with day in and day out.
My hunch was right. Woke this morning with the mother of all headcolds. I feel like utter crap but can't stay in bed as OH is working and have no one to take DD. :(

Oh no love87 :( Hope DD is kind to you today. I give in to tv, films and iPad to entertain Harry when I'm not feeling great xx

I have her tablet charging so she has it when she gets in from school. I usually only let her have it weekends for an hour but I think today is an exception. (Bad mummy) :)

I have my consultant appointment this afternoon. Really hope she will tell me I am not high risk and can go back to MW led care. I can't see why I am high risk anyway.

Complete waste of time. But I'm back on MW care :)

Glad you back on mw care Maud! Are they still classing you high risk?

Sorry you're not well love87 - lots of telly time and all that ;)

We're back in for a scan tomorrow to check the babe's one kidney's still doing ok (I'm sure it is, they been kicking me like mad the last days) Will have to resist the urges to look between the legs again and stay team yellow, dammit!

She just asked me if I felt fully recovered from my tear and if I'm happy to have another vaginal birth and that was enough to switch me back. Quite a relief but it took up two hours of my day with the drive and waiting time and the car park cost me £3.50! I was expecting a detailed chat about why I tore last time and how to avoid it this time but she just said the MWs will try to encourage a slower birth this time.

Ah good - a relief for you :)
Eesh, parking... I been stocking up on coins just for the hospital visits! Partner has declared we're getting a taxi when labour comes around lol

Sorry ur unwell love87 hope you feel better soon, lots of rest.
I'm glad ur able to go back to mw led care and hopefully you will not tear at the birth Maud.

So last two days baby has not been moving much so had to go in again. As it's happened twice I'm going for a growth scan tomorrow. I'm sure it's all fine I think it's because she still has loads of room and maybe I am just over thinking things. They put a trace on tonight and after not feeling her all day she didn't stop moving. I felt so silly and as tho I was wasting their time.
My hips and back are agony today can not wait till physio ad j really need some help with them. Just taken to paracetamol and got a hot water bottle on hoping that will help and i can sleep tonight. X

Growth scan went really well and she still a girl x

Aww, sorry about your panic blueclass - are you feeling her more regularly now? I know it took you a long time to feel her! I swear sometimes they just hide - I worried a bit this weekend after being a bit ill and not feeling them for a while, but the next day, it wouldn't stop wriggling!
Glad the growth scan was spot on - 3 hours until ours with the kidney specialist again... more downing water and all that! Hopefully everything's fine still. I'm interested to know which way up it is now, I can't tell at all. Also curious about my placenta - it's supposed to be anterior, but I feel and see a lot of movement. Worried myself by reading about placenta praevia the other day! Xx

Yes I have but Sunday and Monday she barely moved at all. I'm really hoping that their will be no more hospital trips for me as lovely as they are I'd rather not have to go. She been quite active today which is nice. My placenta is posterior and high not sure what the high has to do with it.

Hopefully your scan will go well and your get good news, keep us updated!
It was nice seeing her today on the scan but really looking forward to my private scan in a couple of weeks. I still think it's mad that she still looks kinda small on the screen but she is going to get so big in just 13 weeks xx

All went well with the scan - the left kidney is still compensating nicely and there's plenty of fluid, so babe's happily floating about in its own pee (lovely) :)

He looked at the placenta at my request and it is quite low, but he assured me it's not so low that it would cause a problem in the birth, so that's a relief.

Babe is upside down now (I suspected I could feel its head in my crotch) - so it must be the bum sticking out when I get a big lump on the side!
The doc also got a lovely shot of the profile (we couldn't get a good one at 20wks), and offered me a printout after I said 'oh, what a lovely picture!' What a nice man...

Ah that's lovely I think girl and i'm glad it went well.
I have not had it when one side looks bigger or anything like that yet. Iv seen pics of people with a lump to the side but nothing for me . I can't tell which part of her body is where either. X

I'm edging towards feeling like it's a girl, if that makes sense!
You'll have to look out for the 'bum sticking out' position, it's an interesting feeling lol
I wonder if mine'll just stay upside down now - as it's my first I'm still a bit clueless about when they're supposed to get in position for birth...

Mine just seems to spin and spin lol
A lot of the time it's head up, but then I feel her spin around, and again, and again. Such an active baby it's ridiculous! She now hiccups at least 6 times a day, and I feel that lower down which indicates baby is head down

My turn to go in to hospital for reduced movements, just waiting for hubby to get home and watch the boys then I will head in xx
