***June 2018 Mums***

Aww looking beautiful Spriddy!

Good luck princess, keep us updated!

So far very very stressful!

Baby heart rate too high so I’ve been on monitors for about 3 hours. Pessary taken out and I’ve been put on a drip to hydrate me more to see if baby settles. Consultants called up and they wanted to break my waters but my cervix isn’t ready so I’ve now had a tablet inserted and am being re examined at 3am. Husband just gone home to eat and get some rest, totally stressed out right now and keep crying! 2 other women on the ward with me must think I’m mental! Their inductions seem to be going quite normally!

Argh princess keep focused on the end hun it will be worth it the second that baby arrives I promise! Fingers crossed for you that everything settles and happens nicely from now xx

C section tomorrow as I’m now 2 weeks overdue. Not progressed at all despite all the hormones and contractions appearing on monitor. Being re examined in 4 hours and if there’s change then they can give me more hormones but that’s so unlikely given I’ve not progressed in 3 weeks!!

So scared :(

How you feeling about the section? Try not to be scared - easier said than done. What is it you're scared about?

I know it’s the right thing to do as I’m so overdue, but I’m worried something will go wrong for baby or me - totally anxiety meltdown! But it’s got to happen at some point!

I'm just thread hopping, good luck with your c-section Princesssaxy. Baby needs to get out of there so it's definitely for the best. The doctors know what they're doing, you'll both be alright x

9.50 am my girl was born! Found itv stressful but the staff were amazing!

Will get pic later, trying to breast feed, can’t feel my bOdy or move!

Congratulations Princess! So glad it went well. Does she have a name yet? X

What a beautiful name! Uncommon too, which makes it even more lovely.

I can’t offer any sympathies or advice on the breastfeeding front... I have all these joys still to look forward to, ha! I bet you’re doing better than you think - don’t put too much pressure on yourself. X

Thanks guys :). Still in hospital, got a lot of pains this afternoon, could barely walk, like contraction sort of ones, midwife says it’s all normal as my body is contracting back after the birth and obviously my scar is a little tender! My husband had to help me to shower and wash hair this afternoon as I just couldn’t manage it! That’s all on top of looking after a newborn! Hate being so dependent on others but I’m trying to accept it and know that I’ll recover faster if I get help. Also even more hormonal, felt like my body had failed as labouring naturally never seemed to be on the cards. Midwife reminded me that a c section is not an easy way out, it’s major abdominal surgery and I need to be proud of myself!

Hello world 💙🌍

Hard time in the end... in to hospital at half 8 on Friday morning, 3 examinations and pessaries til the Saturday afternoon. Was contracting but had to wait on a room becoming available. 6 hours later - still no room. Had gone back the way so had to wait til the next day. Sunday morning- waters broken and drip given, took the epidural. However, from established labour I gave birth very quickly, few pushes. Few stitches here and there which are causing me pain. Slept 2 hours since Friday but wouldn't change a thing <3

Had a sleepy boy the first night but didn't sleep last night. He's looking beautiful though- just would like him to relax and sleep.
How are you princess and summerwine?

Sounds eventful! But glad all is well!

Mine is a week old today, not pooped today tho so stressing a bit about that, will ring midwife in morning if nothing by lunch tomorrow. She’s formula fed and loves her food and sleeping lots with plenty of wet nappies so hopefully all is ok.

Currently putting her in crib downstairs for day sleeps and I’m sleeping downstairs for the nights. Want to move crib up to our bedroom but it’s on 3rd floor and I’m not fully comfortable with lots of stairs yet after my section! Also no idea what she then sleeps in during day as she can go for 3/4 hours and don’t think pram carry cot is safe for that long.

So many things to think about on so little sleep!
