**** july mummies 2018 *****

Not sure if it's the same sort of smell, but GG I do understand where you're coming from. My partner gave up smoking because I couldn't handle the smell, selfishly (in my opinion) he has started again. And omg I can't go near him, every time I do it's like smelling stale smoke or inhaling an ashtray, it's just the worst!!

Haha, sorry, my bad, I was referring to smoked food. We have like 5 BBQ's and three got smokers. He had one of the smokers on yesterday to do some ballet burnt ends and bacon and I normally love the smell but it's just too strong and foody for me to cope with at the moment. Lol

Luckily, neither of us smoke ciggies...can't stand that smell either, lol.

It's the cat food for me!!!!!!! I can't even feed my poor boy because the smell is suddenly everywhere! Blahhhh! x

I know. My parents are on their way so we can all go shopping and have lunch (hoping I can) and already told dad he's sorting to dogs feeds out before they leave, lol

No I realised you meant smoked food lol, but wasn't sure what the smell was like!

Happy 11 weeks Jem & 12 weeks Shan! x

Hello bump buddy! Happy 11+3! Can you believe we are so close to the 12 week Mark?

Happy 11 weeks Jem and 12 weeks Shan.

Shan, bloody good on you for walking out. Sounds like it's high time someone stood up to her and she'll now have to explain to her bosses why they are now a person short at Christmas and have recruitment costs to boot! Do not second guess your decision or feel bad. The manager may have been the worst, but I have always in the past, back before I worked for myself, volunteered to work the holidays so those with little ones at home didn't have to. In your place, everyone else has just happily accepted that they've had every Christmas off. The others like you will now be in a stronger position as well as they won't be able to lose anyone else.

You did it for you and rightly So, but you've probably sowed the seed for some positive change as well.

I'm trying to get over a foul mood. Dan was meant to clean out his smoked meats from the fridge yesterday as they've gone over. He also had the smoker going yesterday and did a load of cooking. I asked him to just please make sure he got rid of and cleaned all the stuff from smoking his lunch as I can't handle the smell at the moment. Got back from. Doing the horses earlier, he'd left for work and dine none of it. Can't leave it as he's away tonight and it's making me want to vomit.

It's okay though...he remembered to take his lunch with him!!! Lol

So yeah, feeling nauseous still and loads of work to do.

It's just hot me this morning that I have less than 6 months of pregnancy left and I've started a new business. I will need to make the pub successful enough in the next 3-4 months to be able to hire a full timer to cover me. I am going to have to do some serious marketing, lol.

Oh Well, I'm not here just to exist so I may as well embrace the risk and just go for it eh!

Thank you Hun. You're totally right and thank you for posting that. Went to watch dd today at her nativity and I just though you know what I'm not wanting to miss so much this time with having to work so fuck it.

Hopefully you feel a bit better. Sometimes men just don't understand the little things that get to us when pregnant. I'd have lost the plot haha. Xx

aw shanivy that bauble is lovely! not meaning to sound horrid but sometimes personalised baubles can look so tacky but that one is lovely!
and well done for quitting! your manager sounds awful

GG you've reminded me, about 6 days before my BFP we visited craster for the day and the smell of the smoke house made me so ill. usually I'm quite weird and enjoy strong smells like that but it was gross. that was the day I figure out I was pregnant

all well at the dentist thankfully, he was really understanding about my oral care sliding recently but said just do what you an until the nausea isall gone, flossing can wait. iI've booked in with the hygienist for mid June just to give me lovely shiny extra clean teeth before the baby come as.

anyone a bit nervous about food on Xmas day? with my nausea still being quite bad I'm so worried I won't enjoy the day, there will be 20 of us and the bathroom isn't exactly tucked out of the way, I'm already stressing about spending so much time throwing up when everyone can hear. I just want to be able to enjoy my Christmas dinner

Really nervous about it, my usual favourite pigs in blankets ... now even the thought of them makes my stomach turn. Just typing that has made me feel funny!

Well done shanivy for standing up to them! Sounds like they were going out of their way to be horrible so you're just right to tell them to shove it. Haha

I can't see the bauble on my phone but will check it later on my laptop hehe I'm sure it's awesome

I told my boss today too :O I know it's early but I've been really sick and I knew she'd start to question my 435 toilet breaks to throw up. She seemed really pleased and congratulated me then said she'd keep it between us and only tne health and safety team would know who need to do an assessment :) pretty pleased as that could have gone much worse xx

Well done Laura, glad it went well and is now out of the way x

Shan ,well done! If you treat your staff like shit, what do they expect?!

Oo no I can't wait for my Xmas dinner! The only food I can't deal with is Indian, makes me wanna throw up. Ugh.

Shan, I love it! So cute.

Had my booking appointment, was OK. Apparently the system has all changed, and I don't get green notes now (anyone else?) it's all computerised. She said my appointment will come through the post. X

Yeah we are the same here, I got a link to an app that I downloaded and all the info is on there. The MW registered my email address at the appointment x

we don't get green notes in the north, it's a blue folder with a baby on the front

I didn't think I'd be able to stomach Indian but I had a chicken malayan (mild one) at the weekend with nut pilau and peshwari nann and it was amazing!

I love my mil I do shes fantastic and a great cook but everything is cooked in meat fat and always slightly over done and I think it's the strong meaty'ness I won't be able to handle. I've already told my family, who I'm cooking for on boxing day I'm not making meat stuffing this year and will be sticking to a sage and onion recipe and there definitely won't be pigs in blankets on my plate. lots of lovely veggies though
