** JULY 2019 TESTING THREAD **

@soffphie Yes cramps are normal in the beginning. Your uterus is expanding and can get quite annoying since the dull cramps can last hours on end.
I also conceived on a relaxed cycle, I think it does help your body in producing less cortisol and getting pregnant easier.

Now try to relax hun! It's easy for me to say but if it isn't meant to be then it isn't meant to be and there is nothing you can do about it so it doesn't help worrying about it! Enjoy the coming 9 months!
It really does prove that sperm analysis is to be taken with a grain of salt, it only takes the one!;)

haha yeh i was also at the time wishful thinking that they hadnt done it properly as they waited 1hr10 or 20 minutes to do it.. last time they only took 45 minutes so i was like... maybe thats why 70% were dead.
the supplements clearly did their job tho! which i am beyonnnd pleased about and just wish id known sooner

to add the cramps really do just come and go.. they dont last long its like owwwy and gone.

@soffphie literally just cried for you! I’m so so happy xx congratulations my love xx

aw thanks so much sugar thats so lovely. it sounds weird but i wish i could cry i just feel in soo much shock like nothing feels real and i kinda in some ways feel nothing (well i do but all i feel is shock and disbelief if i make any sense) im just terrified now- one anxiety to another, i cant get pregnant to omg please survive. i honestly expected to wake up after what happened sunday morning and it be a real vivid dream or something

It’s so nice to see the longtermers get their bfp. It’s like we all one big family on this forum and it’s so bloody lovely to see when we are all so happy for each other.
Sophie what supplements did you end up taking in the end hun. I might switch my OH’s up a bit xx

@SockVortex - i just found this on google for you:
'A study in infertile men showed that taking 1,000-mg vitamin C supplements twice a day for up to two months increased sperm motility by 92% and sperm count by more than 100%. ... Taken together, these findings suggest that vitamin C may help improve fertility in infertile men suffering from oxidative stress' xx

Thanks, Char, I’ve sent him out to get some vitamin C :)

hi.
so for this cycle i took
2 scoops of Myo Inositol (i doubled to two it was a serious all or nothing situation for me)
omega 3
b12/folic
d3
coq10 300mg
vitamin c / zinc

tbh, i think the huge amount of supplements he was taking before clearly worked as we only swopped off all them supplements the friday of the bad result and the first of three tries as the chart shows.. so...
he was on;
black maca 500mg
ashwagandha 500mg
wellmans
500mg vitamin c chewable tablet
d3 (25ug)
selenium 200mcg
he took coq10 as well but this was 3x a week max (wed, sat, sun) whenever we cooked together)

altho he was taking a lot, we never went to maximum dose if ya get me? like vitamin c 500 not 1000 and d3 the lower of 2, maca only 500mg etc etc..

to also add i was always really lazy at taking the cough medicine, this time i wanted it gone and out the house so i took it and quite a bit i cant remember actual day but it was early and thruout to get rid asap but it run out friday again.

also also, morphology wasnt a issue for us we had completely opposite so we was trying to increase counts which the test showed it did but also that now everything was dead sorta thing. think was 70% dead in the last test we did?

same lolly i totally agree - i had really given up on the idea of natural bfp - i was getting ready for ivf, didnt give a second thought to this one even working at all not for a instant.

Huge congratulations Sophie! I was in exactly the same mindset the month we actually conceived. We were just more relaxed generally and just accepted that IVF was the way for us. Like you, I sort of just stared at the test in disbelief for a while. Not the reaction I was expecting!! It really didn't feel real at all.

Just goes to show, it really does only take one.

i said to my oh i am so disappointed with how i reacted and how i told him, i said it should have been this big thing when i told him and he said its fine/perfect bla bla!
i just gave up.. lol it was a all or nothing month for me, and it really genuinely did not once cross my mind that it had worked. its so funny cause i sat there 6.40-6.45 in bed and got up and really seriously what went thru my head was
'be prepared for the shittiest day ever, but dont worry youll be ok cause we dont expect it anyway plus we know its impossible and looks and omfg' haha. stared and just went straight bedroom and said apparently im pregnant. i mean, a let down way to tell him seriously.

Don't worry about it! With my first I was being such a b*tch to the OH because he was supposed to pick me up and didn't. He told my SIL to call me and let me kniw he was already there as we were to have dinner together. It's like a 2 minute drive from our house. I was so worked up and yelled at him for it. I thought it was strange because it's so out of character for me and tested. There was a faint line! Even though we were both annoyed with one another, I just sent him a text with the photo, so lame I know! When I arrived there we couldn't even talk about it, we just locked eyes and didn't say a thing. It was weird
Nobody ever asked me how I told the OH, it's not a big deal honestly, no worries!x

@chattychar1990 to add he was also having 2 squares of 72% dark chocolate, we buy waitrose 250g own brand bars only one we could both stomach!
he was eating salmon 2-3x and i would cook us fish fingers with added omega 3 each friday lol!
vitamin c does seem a good one but i think you have to be careful cause anything above 1000 does opposite effect or something is what i was told?

Evening ladies.

I'm booked in for an early scan on Wednesday evening. Cant wait!

Although I decided to do some tests when I got home from work tonight...all using the same urine and this is the result.

Whu would the FR 2nd line be so faint? X

As it’s the control line I wouldn’t be worried, let us know how the scan goes

hi guys sorry to write this here but i went to doctors and basically my blood pressure is thru the roof apparently, i can only guess because my anxiety and stress is really high thats why? im worried-apparently if it continues to be high ill need medication, something ive never needed and never been suggested once in my life. i have bought a home monitor tho so i can report some readings back.

Maybe try some relaxation techniques, the calm app is good but you have to pay to access all of the stuff, or reading a book? X
