July 2017 mummies to be.

I have always suffered with headaches so I guess I'm just used to them!! I tried to avoid the paracetamol too so was only taking half a tab when very bad.

I didn't have a great 16 week appointment, only positive was that I got to hear the heartbeat, I didn't have any tests done either, I was in and out within 15minutes! I have seen 3 different midwifes now so I don't feel like I have a connection with mine or can easily talk to them!

My belly has gone huge again today, it feels very bloated and tight.

Also have a niggling ache down my right side that I've had all day - annoying me now! xx

Feel better soon ladies! I've def had more headaches this pregnancy, I don't think I even took paracetamol with my first.
My bump is huge too Violet, I'm putting it down to second pregnancy though. I was gutted to find out my placenta is anteria so il be waiting longer to feel baby move  Hope the placenta shifts it!!
CNM- 16 week appointment isn't very exciting. I had mine a week early at 15 (I don't know why) only good thing is hearing the HB x

Bah, she wouldn't even try to listen for the heartbeat, in case she couldn't find it and I freaked out. Oh well! She seemed a bit flustered.

I'm still waiting for my bump! I just look a bit flabby at the minute :D

This is my very bloated belly, it always looks massive by the end of the day! But it isn't this big when I wake up! x

Looking good July. Mine does that. I'll get excited about how big it looks only for it to shrink loads even after going to the loo ha ha

That is def not bloat Julybug  that's baby!!! Won't be long and you'll start feeling little flutters
Last few weeks mine was getting huge by the evening but I'd say last few days it's now just as big when I wake up lol x

Had my 16 week midwife appointment today at 15+3. All good. Heard heartbeat. They seem happy with me so far.

I'm suffering from headaches most days but refusing to take anything. Been bad at times tho. Will it pass dose know?

Mine have now passed Kizzy, mine were bad too and constant, woke up with it and went to bed with it!

Still have that niggling ache on one side just below below button, really annoying! It's probably round ligament pain but it hurts even when I'm just sitting still!? Any ideas?

xx

I'm getting all sorts of sore spots too Julybug and even extruciating ones but I think that's my fibroid. I am putting the random soreness and pain down to either way baby is laying or round ligament. X

Hmm that's what I thought, maybe baby is pushing on something but it's been the same since yesterday, surely he/she would have moved by now?

I don't know, it's hard not to worry isn't it! xx

Woohoo, I reached a milestone today: I managed to floss my teeth without nearly/actually throwing up!! Maybe the nausea is finally gone for good...

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

I haven't had problems with brushing, but for some weird reason mouthwash does it for me and flossing. Both make me gag/sick. So, hopefully this will stop for myself as well haha.

Sounds like I've been extremely lucky to avoid anything like that! I've only been sick twice! Although.. my dog was sick everywhere yesterday which really did make me gag! Yuk!

xx

I'm still having the right sided ache, it's not so constant anymore but I can still feel it pulling when I move. I was reading up on round ligament pain last night and found this which might explain why it's only my right side and it's hurts most when I lay on my right side!

"It's more common to feel round ligament pain on the right-hand side rather than the left, especially from the second trimester. This is because, as your womb expands and lifts up out of your pelvis, it rotates slightly to the right. As a result, the right-hand ligament comes under more strain."

Other then that I'm feeling pretty good, my bump has definitely 'popped' a little bit which might be why I'm getting the pain, I have a little bump when I wake up now which I didn't before!

How is everyone else doing? x

19 weeks today and have my scan on wednesday.
Still not sure if we want to find out the gender but thinking of fun ways to reveal the gender if we do. I'm thinking its a boy which would be easier since we already have loads of blue stuff from our son. Will be happy either way.

How exciting Aurora! Mines the 24th, feels like ages away still!

I can't wait to find out, I dont have the willpower to stay team yellow!

Did you ever upload an early scan pic, be nice to compare!

xx

Pff, there's no way I'm staying team yellow. I find out in 4 weeks and I wanna know now!

That's interesting about the ligaments, July. The right side of my pelvis has been not quite right since Christmas.

That makes sense Julybug. Hopefully it'll ease off for you soon.

My 20 week scan is 23rd! Looking forward to seeing her again :) x

The side pain has eased today finally! still having mild cramps here and there but nothing unusual.

Anybody doing some sort of gender reveal?
I'm thinking of making a reveal cake with blue or pink cream inside just for my close family xx

I did cupcakes with icing for a few close friends as I was seeing them that night anyway. I didn't even tell them I had a scan, just gave them a cake lol, made it more fun for me x
