July 2017 mummies to be.

Oh Michelle, sorry you feel so rough!

I think I really have been quite lucky by the sounds of it!

I have been suffering with constant headaches but I only get abit sicky if I don't eat for ages!

Hopefully it will start to settle down for you soon, what have you tried to ease the sickness, I know nothing really helps! xx

Hey ladies,
I'm sorry I've been missing off here for a little bit, I've had a lot of things going on as well as us all catching a stomach bug. Me and my son have just recovered from it my husband had it for over a week apparently. I need to talk about stuff before I lose my marbles when my hubby was "poorly" I'm being sarcastic because he wasn't throwing up or had the runs he just complained he felt ill, I scrubbed the house top to bottom and while I was sick for 4 days and bed ridden at one point he did nothing and I mean nothing I am now having to do it today it may be hormones mixed in but I am so stressed so upset and basically fed up. I have talked to him 3 times about it and nothing's changed so tonight I'm asking him to leave for a while until I feel he will actually help. He maybe does some dishes or empties the kitchen bin on occasion and says he's always doing it all when he literally has never scrubbed anything in the house it's dusty and the downstairs living room hasn't been touched in god knows how long I've begged him to help me and he still sat and did nothing while i was poorly just watched telly I can't deal with this much longer xxx

Violet im so sorry yoyr feeling so down i hope he gets his act together eventually.
I kicked my hubby out after our son was born as he never did anything Riley is 5 now and hubby only started to live with us 2 years ago because i wasn't prepared to be taken advantage of. Hes a different man now who can cook and clean with out being nagged at.
We wasn't married at the time so that did make things easier though but it was the best thing i ever did.

Hope he gets his act together Violet. I think that's just how some people are hard wired and it's hard to change habits , he really needs to be helping it's not fair on you :( if he can't, make him pay for a cleaner!! Hehe

Sorry to hear that Violet. Hopefully that'll be the shove he needs to actually help out around the place.

Thanks ladies, I'm just so fed up of it I did say to him today how bad I feel and that he really needs to pull his weight in the house and he said hell do more so we have a list of what he has to do and what I have to do. I don't think I've stress cried before but ended up bawling and I just couldn't take anymore xxx

I'm glad he's saying he'll help out more - hopefully he'll see how much it has affected you and keep to his word. Good luck! xx

Try not to get into a situation where you have to note everything he has to do.

Tell him that there are certain things that are 'his' jobs always... And make him do them.

It drains you with two and he's going to have to step up!!

I've been good, some flutters. Spent all day in bed yesterday ill!! Was seriously unwell, feeling much better today and got some chores done

When i had my midwife appointment at the hospital i was told i had a urine infection.
So i had to contact my gp to get antibiotics but they wouldn't untill i had taken a sample into them to dip. That test said that i didnt have an infection. This morning the midwife from the hospital contacted me to make sure i had antibiotics as the infection is very serious and needs treatment asap. She also informed me i have group b strep and will need antibiotics in labour.

So i've contacted my gp again who again refused me antibiotics as there test showed nothing despite the fact that the midwife sent it to the lab to be tested and its come back showing the infection.
I'm so fed up with my gp surgery they refuse to give antibiotics and their has been so many complaints about them. I'm now switching surgery and have had to contact devon docs at the hospital so that i can get the antibiotics..

Wow that's shocking Aurora. You'd think there would be better communication between the two to avoid wasted time and tests especially if the infection is that serious.

Hi AUrora! sorry to jump in your thread, if you have strep b you need antibiotics through your pregnancy i know there is a girl in our thread on them. so best get it looked at

also i have antibiotics as i have BV which can cause preterm labour they try not to worry you but they will prescribe antiobiotics if it is needed!

hope you get sorted! x

My surgery is useless they wouldn't give me antibiotics for the infection so doubt i would get regular antibiotics throughout.
Hopefully can get things sorted at a different surgery. Will feel much better if i have antibiotics through out pregnancy.

im pretty sure she is on them throughout as it can make the baby very ill when they are born which is why they give you antibiotics in labour too.

hope you get sorted! they cant not refuse you them if the midwife has asked for them, ask the midwife if you can see a consultant and then get a prescription through her

Gp would only give me gaviscon for heartburn even tho i requested stronger, saw a consultant and she gave me it straight away

Good grief, I'm sorry so many people are suffering at the minute! I went mental at the OH last night - he couldn't be bothered to clear the sofa properly, so just chucked what was on it down behind it...right on top of the cat litter.

HOW STUPID CAN YOU GET?!

Anyhoo, I'm feeling pretty good today. Thank goodness for swimming. Every time I head to the pool I might as well be going to Disneyland, I'm so excited. Anyone else swimming?

MEN!! My OH stresses me out on a daily basis, not sure if his genuinely being an tw*t or it's just my hormones!!

I'm not swimming but would like too! I have a real issue with getting into cold pool water lol! Especially when It's cold outside too!.. I'm a wuss!

xx

My husband has been great actually (sorry) even gave me a really good orgasm which is what I really wanted haha!

I am still not well. I seem to be perpetually sick. Going to start having fruit, nut and spirulina smoothies just to boost my immune system!

Bought a Doppler today to hear heartbeat :/) such a relief hearing that gallop

I heard baby's heartbeat today, it was so great. She warned me that it could take a few minutes to find it but was then surprised that she found it straight away! She then lost it as he/she moved again - never sits still this one!!

Aww Michelle, its great isn't it!! I recorded mine and keep listening to it!

I was surprised at how low she had to go to find it , bubba is still well hidden! :)

Im so nervous still about something going wrong (because I feel oddly very very normal) but starting to get excited too, I can't wait to feel some real movement, been getting little tickles and flutters but not 100% its bubba!!

xx

Well things have been fab the last few days he's helped me loads more than he ever would and as for swimming I notice I cannot upright myself once on my back floating haha it was hilarious and then I just decided I'm staying here sod it took me 6 attempts to get up right and back to the side haha I don't think I like swimming when pregnant xxx

Ha ha violet. I tried on a fitted dress for a work do in a few weeks time to see if it fitted and it shows off my bump beautifully - made me smile lots :)
