July 2017 mummies to be.

Sorry your going through this Violet, it sounds awful. She clearly does have some issues.. I would certainly have to say something even if it caused a problem with the family, her behaviour isn't on and she certainly should be picking up and kissing your son without your say so - I'm assuming there are people running these play groups, can you ask them to keep an eye out and ask her to leave him alone? If I took my LO to a playgroup and found out someone was doing this I would ask whoever was in charge why they were letting it happen.. It's very difficult when dealing with someone with mental health problems but that isn't a reason to let her continue doing it..

I know it may seem drastic but if you really are worried could you report her to someone? I dont know how it works when your on a military base!

I hope you find an answer and it gets resolved you dont need this kind of worry xx

Is the nursery on the base Violet? If so you could always speak to the welfare office but in the first instance I would advise the same as July, speak to the staff and get them to keep an eye out for you.

I'm always at the groups too I have told her so many times yet she acts like she's done nothing wrong! I don't want to seek mental for suddenly snapping. I've gone to welfare and I am going to be calling civilian and military police at this rate it's good I may be moving because it's a fresh start but it's also scary because I can't get up off the floor fast enough to get to my son due to the spd and dodgy knees so I'm trying my
Best to just stand and stay around him but she picked him up and removed him from the area he was in and sat with him he wasn't happy he wanted to play so I moved him let him go play and told her to just leave him be and she is very obsessive over small children babies to toddler age won't leave anyone's child alone not just mine but she's come
Out with scary things when we where friends basically "if it's twins I'll have one you won't cope with 3 alone" or the home c Sec kit comment was frightening my husband is kicking off big time. Ooh what a mess :( I don't feel comfortable and I genuinely feel on edge thank you Hun for replying I feel silly saying anything but it's not okay when she's all over him all the time whenever she gets chance xxx

Not nursery no it's just a local toddler group on the base that's held in the kids room here. Thanks Hun I'm going to xxx

Sorry - I was in a hurry when I wrote that. Yeah I would absolutely get them involved if you feel threatened about it. They should be able to do something easily enough. x

Don't worry Hun, thank you I just feel so on edge every time and that's not fair xxx

Good news! Everything's been sorted mums at the group today have been told and they now are keeping watch for me as well as me keeping watch and we've just ordered our first ever woven wrap for Nicholas (falling out of love with his name?!) I'm so excited I've used stretchy wraps and caboos and a ergo so this is a big excitement for me (I'm so sad) haha hope
You're all doing well ladies and thank you so much for your advice and support xxx

Good news Violet!

That's one of the reasons I don't want to officially decide on a name just yet -
I keep thinking I won't like it by the time his here! lol Plus me and OH can't agree on any names at the moment!

xx

Well I've had a pretty hard week.

The boys tipped 2 pints of milk into the sofa.... So had to buy a new sofa :(

Baby indigo has been kicking a lot though... Which is comforting :-)

21 weeks now... It's rolling by!

SalisburyMum nooo! I would be struggling to find the funny side of that incident.

As of this week, I'm huge. I feel like a whale, and I'm not quite five months. Oh lordy, this is going to be interesting!

We weren't going to buy anything until we had moved into our new place, but I accidentally saw two gorgeous tiny hoodies in a charity shop, so I gave in and got them. Now I can't stop looking at them :D

CNM, that's what I'm like when I buy baby clothes, it makes it all feel a bit real!!

I've bought quite a bit to be honest and family have already started buying bits, I just have a few little bits to get then think I have all the 'essentials'

I have my midwife appointment today so I'll let you know how it goes!

Good morning ladies!
We've had a busy weekend we went swimming munchkin loved it as did bump, went to thomasland in Drayton manor yesterday and hubby wants to go away next month all of us for a few days to celebrate our anniversary so I'm like where shall we go? Ideas? I'm 24 weeks now 10 weeks till my next scan to check placenta and spud who hasn't even left the pelvis head down haha so the sonographer is gonna be like the hell and then 2 weeks after that my consultant is gonna check me and see what we want to do I'm planning vbac but we shall see what happens I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going truth be told baby also got spoilt by our lovely friends yesterday new bins a little brother baby grow and a beautiful comforter as well as some teddies and another outfit:) I'm doing all the house work today too and treating hubby to a crabbies alcoholic ginger beer he's been giving me foot rubs and back rubs no pressure for sex etc (totally dead sex drive) and just been a loving husband he's up to something haha hope
You all have a fab day ladies xxx

Oh wow, I'm glad to hear you're having a lovely time at the minute! My husband is not being quite so cute...the baby kicked properly for the first time, so I grabbed his hand and made him feel. Husband responded with 'oh yeah, cool!' and went back to playing on his phone.

That was not quite the response I had hoped for.

Have fun today, JulyBug!

Great news Violet. Mine is pretty much always good to me to be fair although I think we've both been irritable this weekend so it's not been the best. I've woken up in a good mood today though and ready to have a good week.

I'd be pretty annoyed with that CNM! Maybe he couldn't really feel it so it didn't feel that exciting to him - I'm sure it'll come as the weeks go by. Mine is so active but tends to stop whenever hubby puts his hand on!! He has felt it a few times though and you can visibly see it sometimes too!

Good luck with the midwife appt July. Have you been feeling much more movement?

Oh yeah great of him like, I know the feeling Hun hubby has spent a lot of time on his games lately it's annoying. Big hugs Hun xxx

So far I've cleaned the bathroom and both up and down stairs toilets it's a nice day here so I've got some washing out too such a busy day ahead but I'm happy to clean I really like it ATM nesting much? Xxx have lovely days to you all xx

CNM, my OH doesn't show much excitment either, don't worry! I think it's all just so weird and new for him that he won't really find that connection until LO is here.

My midwife is running late so I've been waiting for 30minutes already!

I feel a very odd pattern of movement, sometimes days pass and nothing but I notice him mostly late afternoon or in bed in the evening when it feels like a big pulse? Hard to explain but I think because the anterior placenta it must muffle it a little bit!

xx

Midwife appointment went great, heard my boys heartbeat, everything sounds good. His currently in breech but he has plenty of time to move!

The good news is that I'm now under supervision from a really nice soon to be qualified midwife as one of her final 'case studies' which means I can call with any issues, she'll be at all my appointments and the birth and possibly even deliver LO which I'm really happy about as I've not seen the same midwife since the start and not felt very 'looked after' so I'm looking forward to seeing a familiar face all the time!

I have another appointment in two weeks but for now really reassured :)

xx
