Oh that's fab Marie! Laughing about the jiggling about ! my 3rd son was always tucked away in the corner and could never get measurements or decent scan pics ! Fingers crossed the results won't take long xx

I'll be 11 weeks on Saturday. Got my booking in appointment with the midwife on Monday and I think (I hope) she will book me in there and then for the following week. That's what I am hoping for anyway. There's no reason to worry but all the waiting is just driving me mad - I just want a date and I want to know everything is ok.

Still, seeing the midwife on Monday has given me something to focus on so that's good!

All went ok at the scan but despite drinking less still had to empty my bladder then baby flipped upside down and no amount of hip wriggling or bumping my bum off the bed moved baby! They just had to mirror the scan then measure.. Not sure how accurate that is.

This time i went forward so im 12+6 due 12th january if anyone could please add me?ive made my cheesy little announcement video ( my bany pointing at bump plus all the outtakes but its strictly for my family only as i dont really do cheesy i just was having a laugh with my son!! But they arent online on whatsapp so i don't think ill send until they are. Suspense!!

That's so strange, you are literally the only person who's said girl! Although im not fuseed either way, i only have girls names

Carly, if you remember me saying before, I went for a scan when I was 6w6d and I got put back to 6w1d - the sonographer said I must have ovulated late which added up to me because they say you should ovulate on day 12 of your cycle, but I ovulated on day 17, which is 5 days later which makes the 5 day put-back make sense! Then when I went for my 9w2d scan, I was put back 1 day to 9w1d. I should have been 12w4d yesterday at my scan but was put forward all the way to 13w!

I guess it all depends on the rate baby is growing at more than anything - I don't really think ovulation/conception is necessarily how it's all timed. Oh well, I'm just happy that baby is healthy in there! Your scan photo is lovely by the way, it's so nice to see things are going smoothly for you. Did OH accompany you to this scan too? If so what were his thoughts as I remember you saying how over the moon he was when he came to your early scan!

Sugar, I was laughing too! Baby looked so comfy laying face down rolled into a ball. I felt bad disturbing them! But had to give them a right old shake around to try and get them to move otherwise the sonographer wouldn't have been able to measure the neck and that was important to me.

I'm feeling lots more confident now I'm past the 12 week stage. OH and I are going to start clearing the junk out of the spare bedroom over the next few weeks and then start putting things like the cot bed in there etc. Can't wait for our private gender scan on August 5th! We really badly would love a little boy but something tells me this one is a lovely little girl... We'll be blessed either way but I would so badly love to be team blue!! Xx

That's it, least baby is in there happy and healthy Mariexo Yeah Hubby came along too, he's actually a carpenter who works at the hospital. So quite lucky really! Told him to start taking biscuits onto the maternity ward lol. He's said he wants to attend everything he can bless him. Doesn't get any less amazing does it, just staring in disbelief, little arms wriggling and feet flapping about. Amazing. I feel much more confident, cant wait to tell our Friends and family. Everyone who does know has guessed Boy, so we'll find out on 12th August! Got an early Gender scan booked for then too, got a great package with 3D images and a DVD! Cant wait xx

That's late for a midwife appointment , but fingers crossed your scan is booked for the following week and you don't have long to wait. xx

I know, it's been such a long wait. But I spoke to my midwife on the phone and asked if it was likely if my scan would be the following week and she said yes. I'll be in my 12th week then so should be fine!
