Hey Lula, sorry about your grandad hope it was a nice service. My boobs are more painful than they were and nausea has really kicked in, keeps making me feel dizzy and sick to my stomach. Bloating is unreal, like a rubber ring around my waist! This is a very different pregnancy, could mean girl ...... BUT won't get carried away!! Haha. Got the full booking appointment with the midwife Monday, and we're also booking a private scan for next week. The 12 week scan appointment will come through the post after Monday. exciting times. Wish we could share the news though! It's like time has stood still!

Hey ladies how are we all? Sorry I've been quiet I've been away for my granddad's funeral. How have the appointments and scans been? Any new symptoms or old ones disappearing?
I woke up with thrush which is awesome �� off to two tomorrow to stock up on thrush cream. Yay!

On the thrush note, i had reoccouring thrush before i knew i was pregnant. Was using canesten and a pessary was taking AGES to clear it up. Got a Cream from the Docs in the end, gone in like a day! Wonder cream. She knew i was trying to conceive so was safe to use. begins with a D the name of it x

So I got my results back I'm low in vitamin d not a big deal but I have a perisac hematoma she said it's small and that it's not too much to worry about idk just another thing to add to my list of worrys

Oh and noooo to thrush Lula! That sucks! I had it the other week. I know it can keep coming back during pregnancy, it's just a nightmare!
Least you have some answers mystery , you can probably take extra vitamin D? I don't know what a perisac heamatoma is, is that some sort of a bleed? Hope you're ok x

I'm feeling really anxious and emotional today. And found myself questioning what we are actually doing, and feeling guilty about things. Also anxious about how my mum and everyone is going to react, aswel as work.. I know I'll snap out of it, I just find these first 12 week hard, and especially when no1 knows. I know as the pregnancy progresses it'll all get easier. Wishing time would hurry up

I feel like a train has hit me today! Had to call in sick to work :-/ so nauseous and throwing up and have a horrible headache..... I'm exhausted but of course can't sleep!
Living with the mother in law who doesn't know yet... thank god she's in work today lol

Ah amazing ladies thanks, I got refused canesten and threw a bit of wobbly lol! They really need to make more over the counter stuff for pregnant ladies, considering we have so much go wrong with us haha. Im going to call the doctor tomorrow and request some magic crea. He did thankyou, he as irish, so it ended at the pub, I was the designated driver and ended up looking after my 16 yr old sister who was hugging the porcelain by 11!
My granddad would have been very proud lol!
Considering none of my family are big drinkers!
Apart from my younger cousin whos 22 weeks pregnant! But thats a rant for another time lol
Aw JCT take some time for yourself, take it easy!

Still here 8 weeks 2 days pregnant seen heartbeat on the scan and have 12 week already booked in to monitor the heamatoma fx it just goes away on its own

Also got my hcg results back 115000 doc says thats awsome for 7+5 its more like 10 week levels so thats good, the baby i lost never got over 45 anyone else got hcg levels back?

Nice to hear he had a lovely send of, definitely sounds like you paid respects the Irish way! Particularly like your term 'hugging the porcelain' i might use that one

A couple close to us have announced their pregnancy this morning, and I am so relieved. She has a miscarriage at Christmas and took it incredibly hard. When we found out we were expecting, as happy as i was, i also felt incredibly guilty. We know another couple who have had 3/4 IVF sessions, and i am dreading them hearing the news. I want to tell the world when i can, but it's hard knowing you'll inadvertently hurt your friends

You can ask its just a blood test i had mine tested due to the previous miscarriage she wanted a baseline of my levels in case i start bleeding or have another mc

I mentioned i was on a forum and you ladies had mentioned this test. She just said we wont be testing that. Quite matter of fact, didn't question as i felt a bit silly x

I started feeling a little concerned last night. Whenever I take my bra off at the end of the day, I have this huge sigh of relief, because when I do my boobs ache so much. They've ached really bad ever since around 5 weeks ish! But last night when I took my bra off they barely ached, and upon sort of massaging them they didn't feel very tender to touch.

I read that symptoms do come and go but they can also be alarming at the same time if all of your symptoms start to disappear. I'm trying my best not to be concerned because I've not had any alarming symptoms - like bleeding or pain, so I'm ok at the moment. It was just strange that my boobs weren't really aching at all when they've been non-stop aching ever since around 5 weeks!!

Anyone else had this??

From my dates i got the 16th January, and the calculators suggest i am 8 weeks today. But the midwife added a week when i saw her on Monday, which would put me the same as you! When was your first day of your last AF?

I have just booked an early scan, i am so excited x

Bad new ladies.

My early scan did not go well, the baby hadn't developed passed 2 mm in size, there's no heartbeat. Apparently it's a missed miscarriage, i'll have to go to the doctor for medication now to encourage the tissue to go. I'll be having another scan, but the doctor was very clear that this would not show anything different.

I'm very sad...obviously... but I suppose at the very least, as this is our first try, I know that we are fertile and we can do this again
