I was quite constipated yesterday, apologies for tmi, but it seems to be the opposite today. Typical when I've got work etc.

OH has gone on a school trip to Spain this week, so I'm staying at my parents wth Zac. Forgot how uncomfortable their spare bed was - my back is aching. I've been up since 4:30am.

Fab news about the scans. Has anyone else that has symptoms disappear, have them start up again with avengance!? I woke up yesterday with seriously sore boobs and I know I've been poorly but I had constant nausea all day / night and again this morning! I've got weetabix to try and just have that in a morning. I'm feeling loads better thankfully, just busy finishing off bedrooms and furniture that needed doing. My partner is off work - I'm not moving anything, just putting stickers on walls and making beds etc! Exciting stuff when a room finally gets finished haha. Xx

How are we all feeling? I had some orange discharge and got an early scan last Monday (I had calculated it at 7 weeks they put me at 6+4 but said it could be out by up to 5 days). Everything was fine though, got to see heartbeat but baby was just a fuzzy thing. Measured at 7mm but they did get 7.3mm at one point.

I've been so ill the last week in particular. Before I had 24/7 nausea and this past week I've been sick non stop. Doctor put me on anti sickness meds so although I still don't feel good I feel like I can at least function again. Was getting really dehydrated and doctor told me to drink exclusively fizzy drinks and sugary juices to help maintain some calories. Plain water makes me vomit instantly. My dentist was very unhappy about this haha! But I lost 2kg between Monday and Friday! Insane

Hi all, just had my midwife appointment. I've given bloods and a urine sample, everything has gone away to the hospital now so should receive a letter for my 12 week scan soon. She didn't test my hormones or anything, I recall some of you on here having some kind of test for that. Was your results instant, or is it not practice and for another reason. Thanks x

Hey Carly, I didn't get my hormones levels tested either. Just bloods and a urine sample. She said that it wasn't something they do or particularly need to do, so she said not to worry about any of that. I'm the same as you now - just waiting for my 12 week scan date to come through the post. As for the results, my midwife said I'd only hear from her if there was anything wrong, but I don't recall her saying how long it would take to get bloods results back etc, so I'm not sure.

How far gone are you now? Did they add a week on? Despite me using the NHS calculator she said I'd got it wrong lol. I dunno she seemed nice enough but a bit matter of fact. X

I'm 9 weeks on Wednesday (by going from the first day of my last period) but that could change a bit at the 12 week scan as I think I might have ovulated late, but we'll see. Oooooh no, she didn't add a week on for me?! We just went by the dates from my last period.

She's said I'm 8 weeks based on dates. I'm chuffed cause I'm a week closer to my scan hopefully
Still doesn't feel anymore real yet, not till I see it I don't think x

I've got my early scan on Friday... I'll be 8+6. I've been so up and down emotionally, reading posts on the forum has been both a blessing and a curse... because although it can reassure (like when I started getting brown spotting), it can also make you more nervous sometimes reading the difficulties of other people.

My most recent worry is feeling like I'm not sick enough or tired enough. I've got aching boobs and stretching pains in my abdomen area.. I've had no pain and no red bleeding... Friends tell me they had few symptoms and not to worry...but it's hard. Can't wait to have this scan on friday, I'm hoping it will help me put my mind at ease. I feel like I'm in limbo!

lol I know how you feel, I had 2 weeks of symptoms and that's it I have no nausea now just a bit tired and big sore boobs but I had my scan and all is well with a tiny heart fluttering away so now I can worry about the 5 weeks till my next scan lmao

Anyone else really tired? I know ive been unwell but I've had to take a day off work today because I just feel exhausted , not necessarily sleepy, just wiped out. Only 8 weeks, I don't think I felt like this with the others I'll mention it to the midwife on Monday.

Yeah I've felt like this quite a lot! I go to bed at about 11pm or 12am and end up not waking up until like 11am!! So that's 11/12 hours sleep.. It's ridiculous! I guess it just takes a lot out of us at this stage what with all of the baby's major organs forming and what not. Xx

Im falling asleep by 8.30pm Getting up for work is so hard! feel like i could sleep for a week! Waking up at 11am sounds like a dream Marie! What time do you start work? x

I don't think I've felt as exhausted as some, but I've definitely felt more tired than normal... I've really failed to get out an exercise as I normally would. Also I'm still a bit nervous and just waiting for my scan before I run... two sleeps until my 8 + 6 scan..... so nervous!

Hey ladies how are we all? Sorry I've been quiet I've been away for my granddad's funeral. How have the appointments and scans been? Any new symptoms or old ones disappearing?
I woke up with thrush which is awesome �� off to two tomorrow to stock up on thrush cream. Yay!
