I can't sleep , I keep having scary nightmares. It's horrible. Don't know if it's a mixture of being unwell and the hormones. but I just want it to be morning already. Anyone else having bad dreams lately? I'm 7 weeks.. xx

This is so strange, I had an awful dream too. So bad I'm not sure I could actually tell anyone not baby related or anything, I went back about 9 years. Just horrible

Hi ladies, had a follow scan today.... seen a heartbeat :-D it was so amazing to see it there! Measuring at 7 weeks

Fab news about the scan jct i am around 7 weeks too, can't wait to have our scan and know all is ok.
Oh Carly that sounds awful,' must be these crazy hormones. I have a reoccurring nightmare about a tiger escaping from a zoo and chasing us. (I do visit zoos and they don't bother me, so it's very bizarre to have that dream!) so last night I was dreaming one was on the street and got into our house and was going to kill us. Honestly I had to keep getting up and checking the kids and listening for noises. . . Checking for a tiger?? Crazy lady! Haha. I obviously knew there wasn't one, it just made me anxious and have other weird dreams! So I was awake from about 2am.. couldn't sleep. And I'm in agony still. Can't wait for tri 1 to be over!!

Girls, I posted a thread in the first trimester section about a dream I had the other week! It was horrific. I had another one last night about the same thing but the way it happened in this dream was very different.

It's horrible the kind of things we dream about but I think with baby on our mind so often and with the fact we know how important the first 3 months are, our brains start working overtime and obviously our hormones are sky rocketing!! It feels so real when it's happening, but such a huge sigh of relief when we awake.

Afternoon Ladies,

Fortunately, no strange dreams here that I can remember.

Very excited as I got my 12 week scan date through today - afternoon of 28th June!

I thought it would perhaps be the week after that, so i'm really pleased. Finally a date to focus on, rather than how sick I feel. haha

Well I've had abit of scare. I think I've just over done it this morning with feeling a little better I did the hoovering , as my house has come to stand still with mum being ill... *sigh*... nothing gets done! And with it being half term aswel. It was getting me down. Anyway, I've had bad cramps on and off but these this morning were different and made me feel sick and then I had some bleeding. Old and red. I obviously rang the midwife unit and they told me the early pregnancy unit was closed for today now, and they probably wouldn't be able to do anything until Monday. And obviously the added concern about me being ill. But they've rang back and said I will be scanned tomorrow to check what is going on. The cramps are still quite bad, I've had miscarriages before, but I've had bleeding where everything's been ok too, it's hard not to worry. xx

Thank you I am keeping a pregnancy diary. I had no idea how much you change so early on! My work trousers are held together with a hair bobble round the buttons and a safety pin lol x

Lmao I caved and got maternity pants lol I can't stand any pressure on my tummy ATM and these pants are so comfortable I love them lol

My goodness, my timing is awful! I had a wee bleed yesterday which has faded to spotting today, but I'm doing a 26 mile charity hike tomorrow when all I really want to do is hibernate and look after my tiny little bubs.
I looked back at my last journal and spotting seems around the same time as before so hoping it'll settle.

Today I felt this tiny little bit of throbbing and pulling in a very small localised part of my uterus area, it wasn't painful, more of a tickle then anything, Was that me stretching? Is it normal at 8+6 weeks? xxxx
