**January 2018 Mummies, New year Babies**

Congratulations Karen :)

Hope everyone's doing OK? I've been feeling sick a lot this past week and I'm quite tired, but otherwise OK. Time is going SO slow though!

I'm finding time is going slowly too.. Every day is a little milestone! Xx

I'm really worried, I have had this shooting pain about three times now, over the course of the last two weeks, sharp and sudden In my right side just before my hip bone, possibly ovary area. I'm telling myself I'm going to have an ectopic or something :( Twice when I got out the car and once moving fast to get up off the sofa

Carly I keep getting those pains - I think if it was ectopic the pains would be more constant and would be getting worse. There are other things associated with ectopic as well. I think it's just growing pains xxxx

Also, I've just noticed you are 6+2 - I'm not sure you'd have made it this far if it was ectopic xxxx

Those are just pulling and stretching pains. Pretty much all women get those when pg. If I get up too fast or stretch too far I get them. Just got to be more careful.

Ectopic gives you shoulder tip pain as the biggest symptom... So unless you have that I wouldn't worry.

Maybe round ligament pain honestly I'm getting so many weird pains I've never felt before I've stopped worrying so much now lol

I keep getting cramps, pains and twinges but apparently they are normal.

Ive stupidly Googled, anywhere from 4-10 weeks. I hope it's nothing, but it's enough to take my breath away x

Thanks ladies, can't help but worry x

Easier said than done but try to relax.

I was laying in bed earlier on my back, sneezed and had a sharp pain right across the entire of my lower stomach - it's where you stretch too far, or there's a sudden movement. Just got to try and be careful. Xx

I think you'd find the pain was constant and got worse Carly. It's so awful to be worried - I feel worried about different things and just wish I could relax and enjoy it! Could you call your midwife? An early scan might give you some reassurance xxxx

Hi, sorry I've had such a busy weekend! Feeling exhausted today! Those pains sound like normal stretching pains Carly Especially when moving suddenly or sneezing or coughing etc. It will happen a lot more as the pregnancy progresses. An ectopic has constant dull ache pain, and usually with some spotting eventually, and also pain in the shoulder. It's a very distinctive pain. I know it's hard not to worry, but try and relax. When is your appointment with midwife?

I'm 7 weeks today by dates. :) midwife appointment tomorrow, can't wait. My symptoms have eased a lot, which does worry me. But I'm just thinking its probably everything settling down because my body has done it several times before, and I'm always busy with the others so maybe I'm not noticing it the same. It's a scary time this first trimester. We can do it girls :)

I loved my first appointment, it made it feel that little it more real, i have pretty much no symptoms apart from sore boobs and not being able to poop! Its worrying me a bit, but im just trying to think myself lucky I guess ? what symptoms did you have ? x

It's awful but you end up worrying about practically everything. I'm 7+2 now. I fined that I am tired sometimes, but not utterly exhausted, I find that I am slightly nauseated occasionally (especially after a big meal) but I've not been violently sick.. I just feel a bit off and find myself having to swallow or burp.

I'm having mild cramps but nothin intense..... I'm havin occasional brown spotting... my boobs hurt...

So of course I worry that I'm not suffering enough . I said this to a friend with two children who told me she had practically no symptoms (just tiredness and sore boobs) for both of her pregnancies.

Just sharing that information for those of you who may worry your symptoms aren't bad enough.... I know I've worried and I know others have. It may be another think we ought no worry about. I think I will ease my worries by giving it a week and then having a quick pg test to see for myself. Less than 2 weeks to go before my early scan at 8+6!

Cause of the bank holiday I won't see a midwife now till next Monday, 5th June. I'll definitely mention it x

Thanks sugar, that's kind of what I keep telling myself, that if it was constant I should be worried. Midwife is a week today, no appointments today as Bank how x

Afternoon Ladies,

I hope everyone is feeling well and not worrying too much - easier said than done I know!

I'm still knackered, I've NEVER slept so much ever. Can't keep awake past 8:30pm at the moment. Nausea is still on and off, but I don't' think it's as bad as it was last week.

Booking in appointment went well on Friday. Midwife couldn't get any blood out of me, so I ended up having to go to the Blood Clinic at the hospital - they did it first go. Just waiting for 12 week scan date/time to come through the post now! I'm apparently consultant led because of my high BMI, Midwife was surprised as I don't "look" that big but I am short. I'm quite pleased i'm consultant led to be honest as I had retained products with Zac so at least this can be discussed with them too.

Alipops x

Do you mind me asking what your BMI is? Im JUST under the high BMI, But I'm so close to it. I didn't know if it was different in different counties!
Im desperately trying to loose a couple of pounds safely, as I really want a water birth!
pretty sure If I just cut out Kfc ill drop a few easily lol

Does anyone have any tips for staying calm when stressed. I can feel myself getting stressed and upset quickly (hormones probably don't help) and I know it's not good for the baby.

Leaving love to everyone.
