Hello Jan mummies!! I am going to set up a ''December mummies'' thread over in the baby and toddler section on here. Would you like me to make it ''December and January mummies'' we can all share tips for our newborns and give support etc? xx

That would be great. I seen out my pregnancy with the Jan mums but baby is a Dec birth

I agree, especially as I've herd you google a lot about baby in the first couple of months to see what's normal haha would be good to have other mums going through the same things to talk to!
Although the way I'm going, I'll be a February mummy

Yes hope you've got her in beanie and she feels better soon, nights are always the worst!

Oh SAHF, I make hubby have the day off(He does have to drive for an hour there and back) and luckily his work let him, I can't drive for starters! can you not get anyone else to go with you (even if they wait in the waiting area rather than going in with you)??

ActuLly been able to plod round the house today and get some bits done!! Whoop!

My dad is driving me there but I found last week so painful that I'm dreading my OH not being there to squeeze his hand! I can't ask him to take time off though. He's come to almost all of my appointments with me so far and the Paternity pay is going to be so rubbish for his two weeks off! We really can't afford him losing more money than he absolutely has to right now.

I've had not one single niggle today! Plus feeling a bit low. I think I'm close to tears now! I just want my baby here.

SAHF, I understand, we're 41weeks pregnant today when we should be holding our babies. I'm going to start crying if I think too much about it.
I'm just taking each day as it comes, like tomorrow, we've got our 2nd sweep and things might have changed down there in the past week and may be closer to having baby. And even if not, I'll be getting my appointment for when I'll be induced and that will definitely be closer to meeting the little monkey haha. I know being induced isn't ideal but it's better then some other scenarios!

Give the OH a big squeeze and have a cry if you want, I normally feel better after hehe hope you feel better soon xoxo

Definitely do google a lot! Think I've googled something every night so far! Dr says everything looks & sounds good and it's probably a bit of reflux, not sure if they think I'm a panicky mum ! Noises she was making sounded horrible and dr Google suggested some scary things

Oh I really feel for you both, I hope the next sweeps work and you both have your babies here soon x

All quiet on my front, technically Dd isn't for over a week so looks like its still likely to be friday

You'll probably end up having yours before me Kellylou! You're making me wish I was having a planned c-section, least then it wouldn't be a guessing game, ha!

Tonight I've felt like baby is practically clawing their way down my bits! It's honestly felt so weird. I was just saying to OH I'll be so gutted if tomorrow midwife says I'm no more dilated than last week (1cm).

It's not working out to be good timing tho! Ds has had this cough for 10 days or so now and cannot shift it so been up with him just now being sick, thankfully it's been all the mucus sitting in his throat but hubby has it! So much for rest before the new baby arrives!

What time is your appointment SAHF? I was pushing the top of my bump gently and could feel something below each time I did haha was weird!

I've had a lot of 'any news yet' today. Even my cousin who is like my sister rang me up and I said 'haven't you herd? I've had it' she knew I was being sarcastic and swore at me haha well honestly! Think she's just a bit worried as she's going down to London until Sunday.

Hopefully it's coming to the end of it though kellylou for your little boy, hubby can look after himself hehe

Booked in for 3:30pm! Was really hope baby would make an appearance before then, as you know I'm not looking forward to it! What about yours?

At 12, not looking forward to it mostly cos I don't think it'll work, being rather negative about anything working now, just can't get my hopes up again! I know what sounds awful but it's heartbreaking thinking it won't be long before you meet your baby and nothing comes of it. I hate dreaming about my baby too as I'm so disappointed when I wake up and it's not here. My hubby dreamt about the baby the other day and kept looking at my tummy and saying 'come out now little one' haha

Got the period pain at the front of inbetween my legs, always happens when I lie down, what is that?


Anywhoo in the final stretch now! Hopefully baby will be safe in my arms by this time next week and I hope the same for everyone else who's due!

Hope the sweeps work for you both my 2nd sweep did, get bouncing and walking, its so frustrating when you go over I was 5 days over with ds and you are just sooooo uncomfy.

I didn't buy a yoga ball, no room for it! Hopefully our sweeps do the job

Although I'm even less looking forward to mine now. Had horrible pains all morning like intense period pain, actually feel like I'm on my period! Minus the blood, thankfully. Gonna have a lie down before my appointment.

Just noticed a lot of the January mummies that had initially given their due dates haven't checked in again ! I wonder if they have had their babies ....

Yeh a lot of them never returned after having their due date info added.

Well I cried! It hurt getting off the bed after she had a feel of bump and checked heartbeat then had another cry when she booked my induction day! I've got to phone up on the day to see when they want me!!! Can see it being a nightmare already.
Hubby also made me go for a 45 minute walk which I haven't done since I stopped work and it hurt my back
My midwives had been checking to see if I'd gone into labour this past week as she was sure she'd done a good sweep! Oh well baby will come when it's ready haha
Hubby is going to tesco to get me raspberry leaf tea and going to have a vindaloo tonight!
Hate my peanut, it hurts my back so not going to do that, anything else I could do? Anything!!
