***** January 2015 Mummy's *****

Thanks everyone. I could keep the whole ward going with colostrum but he just wasn't latching. Trying to up the volumes he's taking so I can get him home.
Just going with formula so as not to confuse him. My husband is actually happy. He wants the bonding of feeding too. I will get over it in time. Just hard.

Nat I'm totally with you on the sleep front- it's so uncomfortable, I'm weeing about six times a night, have heartburn all through the night, and have an awful cold and cough - I'm desperate to go into labour early because I don't feel I can cope anymore and doing this with a toddler is so hard.

My husband has been looking after Freddie so much he's been amazing, but this morning Freddie doesn't want to know me and is pretty much rejecting me- it's breaking my heart :-( x

Jolly. OH has had James the past 6 weeks and he is such a daddies boy. Makes me sad in a way as James doesn't seem all that fussed with me but happy in other ways as they have such a strong bond and I know when baby comes he will have his daddy to lavish him with time and attention whilst I'm learning to cope with a newborn again

X

Our LO is a total daddies girl too. She used to want me for everything but I had awful morning sickness at the beggining of pregnancy and OH did most of the looking after her for a couple of months. Since then she has been really close with him. He is the one getting up in the night with her too and she is used to that. She will scream and ask for daddy if I try to settle her. I kind of miss being the one she turns to for everything but I'm really glad too because it will be easier on us all with a newborn to look after.

Cute baby stuff, but with the "wrong" baby! and now the cat is in the bloody car seat lol.

Hahahha aww bless him!! Fred keeps getting into tinkerbell's bouncy chair too!!!

Love your massive windows!!! X

The cat adored the crib last time as well. That will go up tomorrow.

Just taken our tree down so the living room looks massive again.

Feeling weird today. Having a few non specific pains last night has freaked me out a bit. I've really not given much thought at all to life with a new baby? Hope it all comes back to me as I cant remember anything lol

Awww, your son is so cute Nat. Mine keeps putting his toys in the moses basket :D We only bought it down early so he and the cat would get used to it, but I have to have a cat net over it as the cat thinks it's a giant bed for him otherwise...will soon stop once there's a crying baby in there haha.

Has everyone settled on names yet?

We don't have a name yet!! Need to give it some serious thought. There are a couple OH likes that I'm neutral about and a couple I really like he isn't too keen on and a couple that we both like, but don't love. I want a name that we both love but not sure we can come up with one.

We only had one name last time. No back up name and no girls name (we were team yellow so thankfully baby was a boy)

This time OH found the name and it grew on me but I'm so loving it now if we don't use it I'll be gutted. In fact we're not married so I'll go and register her on my own. Kidding of course

I think we're pretty sorted with a name, but we're going to wait to meet her before totally going with it x

Oh gosh I have a mummies boy through and through, he's literally my shadow and it can be so frustrating. My main worry is being able to give ds the time he needs too.
We've got lists for names (more for a girl) but not settled on one. We didn't with ds, we had some favourites and tried some out once he'd arrived.

Pretty settled on his name now at last xx just can't wait to meet him now for cuddles xx

We're pretty settled on a girl and boy name but want to make sure it fits on his/her arrival.

We picked them so early was worried id have gone off them by now....had a couple of wobbles, particularly with the boys name as OH chose it and it grew on me, but luckily I still like them!! x

I'm the same as taboo and just want to confirm the names suit on their arrival! Found girls names much easier than boys for some reason x

Are our names all top secret? LOL

Our name is Beatrice. I'll kill OH if he doesn't start loving it again.

Other name we did like was Elizabeth.

We've gone for Freya, which has always been one of my top choices. Hubby always said he disliked it then suddenly announced one day that he loves it and thinks we should go with it !?!?

We had a top 3 with my son and picked his name a few minutes after he was born. Hubby let me choose as I had just gone through a 9 hour labour :D

I must admit, it feels nice this time to know her name and we've been calling her by her name instead of the nickname we've had from the beginning. Not sharing with family or friends though until she's here and we've announced the birth as I don't want any opinions on it at all.

Nat, I love Beatrice/Bea. Another one I would have put on my list but hubby said no way!!

Bea's lovely but our friend had a Bea in summer and we also know a Freya that's 18 months old-our name pool has been severely dwindled with all our friends having babies recently!!

We've got Caleb as our first choice for a boy with Jonah as a backup and Harris as a middle name for either and then Isobel as our girls first choice or Lyla with Violet (my nana's name) as the middle name.

There are tons of names I've had vetoed by DH particularly for a girl it was so frustrating!! x

We're the same as Ceecee we haven't told anyone as we don't want any opinions to sway what we want, I know as soon as my mum pulled a face it would ruin it for me lol! xx
