http://www.pregnancyforum.co.uk/forum/v ... otherapist

think she got her money back and was going to complain to some addresses i got for her (my boss is a qualified hypnotherapist in his spare time)

as i said this guy was one of many that work for this firm but i couldnt see anything on their website that says they are regulated by one of the councils that most good therapists are registered under.

this can be a wonderful therapy but you need to be sure you go to someone reputable.

thank you il have a read x x x

this is the mail i got back when i emailed the lady

Hi Dionne,

Thanks for your email.

Jealousy is one of the most common issues I get to help people with. I work
consciously to help you to get out of the loops of automated behaviour,
to teach you HOW to think and feel more appropriately, and 'unconsciously,
using hypnosis, to re-pattern the behaviour at a deeper level.

I normally see people between 2 or 3 sessions for this, though on several
occasions one session has sufficed (NB my insurance company would be
displeased if I guaranteed anything!).

The first consultation is 30 minutes and is absolutely free. This gives you the opportunity to explain what is going on and your expectations, and for me to gauge the best way to move forward and to explain NLP and the work that I can do in relation to your problem. The following hour costs £125.00. However you are free to go away after the initial consultation and contact me if and when you wish to proceed.

Client hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

hun this is one of the bodies that regulates the hypnotherapy industry.

i would say what she is quaoting is pricey - maybe you could contact them and find out roughly what you could expect to pay?

£125 for an hour when you could need three of them sounds a hell of a lot of money babe :?

Theres a hypnotherapist i considered going to where i live who charges
£25 for the initial consultation and then £30 a session after that.
He was recommended by my counsellor and operated in a doctors surgery.

Would research a bit more, cos thats expensive!

For the number of sessions i'd need it would've added up to alot of money!

So that sounds like a lot of money for 1 session!
