I know we haven't spoken much but I've been following your posts & your journey & really feel humbled & honoured with your words after everything you've been through

I feel that you are one of life's inspirations as with everything that has happened recently your posts read of positivity & inner strength that makes you an amazing person & these are things that many of us wish to have

My optimism & positivity is only through reading everyones journeys & the things that have happened, so many horrible things have happened to so many of you & none of you deserve it at all & although you have your down moments, you are all still able to smile & wish people well

It's made me realise that I'm unbelievably lucky with everything in my life & it's made me start appreciating everything so much more & to stop wishing for everything to happen now, things will happen when they are ready to & if means I need to wait for a few years then so be it

We will all get the lifes & happiness we deserve, just sometimes it takes a bit longer for some of us

Another debt has been blasted to buggery, debt summery below:

January 2011
6 debts totalling £11,150

February 2011
2 paid in full totalling £700
Total outstanding £10,450

March 2011
1 paid in full totalling £950
Total outstanding £9,500

April 2011
Debt paid this month £990
Total outstanding 8,510

The remaining months of this year are being used to pay off the remaining £9,500



It's getting there slowly but surely

We paid off both our overdrafts recently which feels great now 3 credit cards to go, it makes you feel so much lighter when you can see the amount getting less and less

Well done Kezza it makes you feel really good when you manage to pay some of them off. I've been doing the same over the last couple of years and as of January this year I was debt free!!!

It was wonderful to actually have the money left over in my wages after paying the normal bills. I put half into savings and then went on a long overdue clothes shopping trip. The feeling was amazing.

That will be you soon!! Good luck with paying the rest off, keep up the good work

Well done you AC that's fantabulous & you should be very proud of how far you've come, it's a big achievement. Although you still have a lil more to pay off, think of it as being half way to being debt free & it's a better amount then what you started with

Best thing is not let it get to you, although the months may be extremely hard when watching what pennies are left but keep telling yourself it will be over soon & it's for your lil one, the months soon pass without too much stress or worry

i have managed to save for my wedding, thats all paid for....so from April baby savings start, going to save £5,000...then once the £5,000 saved...starting to save to pay off our loan and then..........going to save to move home! phew....we will get there eventually xx

You girls are really inspiring. I've been finding it really hard to save anything this year as fuel and food and bills have all got so expensive but if you can do it then I'm probably just making excuses I must do another budget tomorrow and focus on it a bit more cos I definately don't want money probs when a baby is here.

That is such a good way of looking at things samsgirl i will remember that. I would hate not to be able to buy my LO something because I had been silly with money now (although clothes aren't generally my weakness, I spend too much on holidays and going out (at least I guess that will get cheaper when I start ttc as I won't be drinking)). I'm so sorry your back in ttc/ waiting to try but welcome to the May gang!
