Hey honHey Bella
Awwww good stuff, always nice if you can inspire people a lil go Bella, go Bella
My mum was always at home & had a sewing machine in the kitchen & did bits & pieces for the army but always there when growing up, my dad on the other hand wasn't, he was either in the pub or at work & never at home, I found it hard growing up cos although your parents are married & together, you never see one of them so that's why its really important for us that we will be around all the time, well as much as possible & the OH will work from home a bit more & if he is in the office then he isn't going to stay late as much as he he doing now
Oooooooo how fancy do those pax wardrobes sound, I love having lots of draws & cupboards to hide bits in.
How well did the decluttering go hun?

Ooooooo I've just been given an extra 6 shifts for March, means that everything will be paid off 2 months quicker then expected

Kezzy, I think your plan is very well thought out and sensible, well done!
We had exactly the same discussion with my OH a couple of years ago and came to the same conclusion, that we'd start trying once my PhD was out of the way, his debts were paid, he had at least 2 years job stability, and we had sufficient savings for baby related expenses and emergencies. You really don't want to be pregnant and have to worry about fixing things in your flat, paying off debts and not having enough savings for a rainy day, being pregnant is stressful enough as it is!
It's also nice to enjoy that period when it's just the two of you and you can be all spontaneous and go for nights out or travel. I think it's a really nice stage in your life and it shouldn't be rushed through .
Hey hon
that must have been hard not having your dad around, I understand why you and your OH want to work it so you will both be around as much as poss. You will make fab parents when the time comes
The decluttering went well, mum came round to lend a hand, I got rid of one bin liner full for the charity shop and another for the bin feel revitalised!! We have a smaller wardrobe in our spare room which is now almost empty, my OH said it would be nice to try and clear it so it's ready for the pitter patter of tiny feet.....that really made me smile to think he's thinking about it being a nursery hopefully in the near future x x x
Keep Going Kezza!! KGK for short and a here and a there here a pom there a pom everywhere a
