Shelly that's a really good story hun, my daughter measured small at my 20 week scan (they didn't do 12 week routine scans 13 years ago) but didn't think anything of it, she ended up coming 2 weeks late as I was induced, she wasn't small by the time she was born she was 7,5 but compared to my first daughter 8,9 born at term, so she was smaller
Perhaps this one is just small
My bleeding has really slowed down today
I've hardly any on my pad and only light spotting when I wipe, no pain at all
The EPU nurse said I had a large area of ECH (extra chronic hemorrhage ) which is a pocket of blood/bruise outside the Gestational sac
Could the bleeding be this?

So glad your spotting has stopped

I'm hoping so Hun. Small babies are beautiful I had a newborn for twice as long and I loved it

There are lots of babies that are small for no reason but they go on to perfect healthy children. You wouldn't think my daughter was so tiny looking at her now. She is perfectly average.

Yes if that's what's causing your bleeding then I imagine the baby is fine. I've just read the post below and as long as you rest as much as possible you should be fine.

Gail, my friend told me her pregnancy was saved only because she rested. She just sat in the bed for weeks and her bleeding stopped! Its defo worth resting Gail for 8 days and then may be there is a hope sweetie.

I know its not easy to be in bed when house looks a bit messy but its worth taking care about yourself and your baby now.

Just had to pick up my Daughter from work as Hubby has had a drink and he forgot she was working, but now I'm in bed resting and I will stay on bedrest as long as I can, hubby working this weekend so it won't be possible but I can chill on the sofa with my little boy plenty of kids tv and snacks and I'm sure we'll be ok

Cramping a bit tonight, but hardly bleeding at all only a tiny bit of brown similar to last day of AF
If I wasn't pregnant I would think I've had a long and fairly irregular AF for 10 days!!

in bed watching 5 star babies about the portland hospital, bloody rediculous the amount of money these women spend !!! Some gourgous little bubbas ...got me so Broody and hopeful for my little one

That's amazing Becky, really nice story, its good to know that it can work,
I know my Team leader at work had a triplet pregnancy but lost one so was put on bedrest for the rest of her pregnancy, she has 18 year old twin girls, ive spoken to her today and she's told me off and said I must stay in bed or at least on the sofa!!

It's strange, because I was told by a Gyne Dr on Saturday that it was a miscarriage I expected the bleeding to get heavier and for it to happen soon , I just felt helpless and so sad, but because the scan on Monday revealed growth and another cause for the bleeding it's like I've got another chance and I'm feeling so positive, if I am miscarrying it should get heavier again so well see

Well I've had hardly any bleeding yesterday and overnight, only light brown cm when I wipe and nothing on my pad , I'm taking everyone's advice I'm staying in bed today, got a good book on my kindle to read and Netflix on the laptop so I'm all sorted, my little boy at Nursery all day today and tomorrow so don't feel too guilty
Hubby even got up and made the girls sandwiches ....they are 13 and 16 so old enough to make their own but it's hard enough getting them up for school lol

My eldest was talking last night about the baby and how she'd prayed to god to keel me and the baby safe and how she didn't believe in God now, she got quite upset again she doesn't know what's going on really she thinks I've lost the baby and I wouldn't want to tell her otherwise until I know what's going on next week as I couldn't put her through it again

Gail I'm glad you're resting. I know it's hard but you really need to. Even if you have to extend your sick note. It is defo worth it for you and your baby.
