congrats to the other BFP and really hoping you get a BFP tomorrow Phoenix.

I’ve had my blood test, it would have gone to the labs at 10:30am and possibly get the results today. I’ll be ringing just before the doctors close to see if the results are back.
Doctors going to call Thursday 10am and I’m going to ask for a same day beta. To check the levels. X

Nah won’t be a BFP i wanted to test the strips on my lunch break earlier but hubby was basically up my ass the whole of my break really getting on my wick I spend my whole day speaking to people on the phone I just wanted 30 mins to myself where I don’t have to speak. I went upstairs and he followed me like ughhhh will you just go AWAY

Ah god! Why can’t you know you are pregnant after like 5 minutes I am really cramping right side but I don’t know if that is normal or not x

Oooh I knew it! I could see pink! Definitely a test evey day now .

Definitely looks like the start to me. As for cramping I've had horrendous cramping both time I got pregnant.

Here was my last squniter on a cheapie compared to a frer the same sample

My last bfp took ages and ages to darken. They are definitely positive.

When did you last take one xx

I don't suppose you have any photos of how slow your tests took to get dark?

This morning and wasn’t any darker. It was the early first response. Got clear blue but don’t think they’d pick it up. Waiting for one step to be delivered, how can I wait til Thursday lol xx

As for me, Blood test was at 09:20am, the nurse informed me it would be sent off at 10:30am and I might even get the results today. I rang at 4pm and nothing at the moment. I'm going to ring in a moment.

At this gestation, my HCG should be between 4-426 (which we can guarantee it is because of the tests) and importantly the progesterone should be between 12-20ng/ml. Anything under 10ng/ml is considered low. Fingers crossed they have my results now, otherwise I'll have to be patient and sleep on it.

My cheapest took a good week or so to darken significantly but my frer's darkened much quicker. However my tests did vary early in and there was a day or two where I was panicking because they were lighter than the previous days. When your testing early on I think the concentration of HCG in urine can be hard to assess accurately with HPTs tbh.

My DPOs are only rough estimates here as I wasn't tracking because by this point we'd been ttc for 7 years and had honestly given up.

Heres the ones I have. The cheapies are definitely a hit and miss compared to frer hey were probaboy taken over he span of about 5/6 days. Cant remeber exactly. Spent a fortune on tests as I didn't believe it. Took about 200 no joke. Xx

I know I only rang at 4pm, but I'm going to ring the doctors at 6pm just in case the results have come back, I'd rather not sleep on it if I can help it!

I am not 100% convinced at all, Only time will tell I guess but the water dipped test has definitely got me thinking! I meant I don't know if it is normal for me to get cramps I think it probably is to be honest. Will a million percent be testing every morning from now on though!

@RainbowMama Your pregnancy tests are very positive honestly mine have never gotten like that do try not to stress it is all looking really good right now x

Definitely. I know some people aren't keen on frers and I know their dam well expensive but they have always given me a clear answer. Espically in the beginning. The contrast between cheapie and frers is amazing to me early on. My cheapie testa were rubbish with not clear progression like the frers.


I totally get you wanting to ring again too. I had to have betas in my forst pregnancy around 4+5 because I was bleeding, I've bled with both pregnancies but with my first it was on and off till 20 weeks. My hcg also never doubled on the betas which made then scan me at 5+3 only to find much to everyone's suprise a heartbeat. Hes now sat on me sleeping so I've got eveything crossed for you xxxx

I absolutely swear by an FRER I am just being silly when I say I will wait to use as I know when it is looking a little more clear on a cheap one ill be straight on the FRER

Still no results, so I'll be sleeping on it. Hope the GP agrees to re-test on Thursday to check the HCG level progression. I just did quite an emotional vlog, it's the not knowing that makes this so much harder. I'm going to be peeing on a FRER when they come, I'm waiting on Amazon. Should be here by 8:30pm.

Hope you have a good hold in you by the time they arrive. This will sound absolutely ridiculous coming from the 5-7 DPO tester but save the FRER for FMU as at the moment you have no idea what HCG level you are and they could rise steadily which for me would only heighten the worry xx
