Happy fully cooked day starlight!

Ive not really had any big twinges other then the occasional BH but they have been relatively painless. Only 36+2 so not expecting anything to happen just yet.

Hope you are feeling a bit better soon Jazz xx

Aww glad the scan went well Zoe, its hard to see clearly at this stage isn't it because they're so big!
Starlight happy fully cooked day!
I actually am starting to feel ready for this baby now, just about! Going to get measured for a feeding bra next week, is 37 weeks about the right time? Decided I'm deffo not getting any formula in, we have a Tesco express 2 mins away in an emergency!

Lovely scan pic Zoe

Fully cooked for me today too... Eek 37 weeks already!!

Blondy I think they say 37-38 weeks for bras. Though I'm going to go in to. Other are tomorrow and see what they say. I've got various ones I had from last time, in all sorts of sizes. So my theory is I'll go and get measured, then have a see what I've got that'll suit. I def need to buy some more, but I need some good supporting ones!

I have been getting pains for over 3 weeks but these recent ones have been different, more painful but not major pain.
I think more like extreme period pains, shooting pains and aches!
They eased off as per usual and I don't feel anything has happened today so the waiting continues! X

I'm 37 weeks today too! How time has flown!! Officially started maternity leave today as well, so nice not having to get train to work.

Ive been having tightenings around my stomach

Ive been getting a few random BH and period type pains as well. My bump aches all over though and my back and flu flu bones are making doing anything so painful. It's been like it for a while now though. Just ignore and soldier on :D

My waters broke on my due date last time so I duno what to expect. I think im prepared to go over but we'll see if I still feel that way 2 weeks from now :P 38 weeks tomorrow. Need some babies to start popping out to make the time go quicker hehe ^-^ xXx

Congratulations to those who are now fully cooked, how exciting!

Thanks for sharing the link Zoe, that is a right bargain at £10 let alone two for £16!

I've just come back from Parent Craft class, this one wasn't as good as the previous two, I don't feel that I learnt as much but it was still interesting. The one point that she made was how we all worry that we haven't got enough things for baby, yet in Finland they provide the baby essential box (I'm sure you've all seen this link floating around by now but if you haven't it is here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22751415) and that her and the other midwives completely agree that this is plenty to get you through. It really hit home and made me realise there is no reason to panic about having everything ready.

I agree we do need some babies to start arriving although our car seat doesn't arrive (along with the pram) until next week so im happy for baby to sit tight until then.

Bought a few things in the asda baby event, some of which arrived today. Love baby related deliveries!! That is an amazing offer zoe, I bought one in the toes r us sale after xmas but its wasnt that cheap.

Interesting to read about how they do it in finland, im constantly worrying that we dont have enough stuff although im sure we do.

Walked to my parent craft class as OH had the car for work and now my hips/ pelvis is in agony xx

I agree we need some babies out really soon.
Im in agony atm, have been for the last 3 days but slowly getting worse!
Feel like my back is about to explode and like this baby is just going to fall out of me theres that much pressure down there.
As for taking paracetamol im taking them every 4 hours on the dot to no avail!
Oh well the joys of pregnancy!

Congrats to the ladies at full term already, cant believe how close we all are now xx

Zoe, those johnsons boxes are brilliant. I used mine as a changing box downstairs to keep all nappy changing stuff tidy. Just topped up when necessary :) The stuff you get in them is great too!
Tesco are doing mega boxes of pampers nappies 2 for £15 (around 70 nappies per box) which is incredibly cheap. If you can afford the money and space - buy!! Sizes 2 & 3. I recommend :)

I cried earlier because I was in so much pain. Spent hours walking around the shops inbetween driving around and ive been stuck on the sofa unable to walk since :( PJs on, back pad turned up to it's highest temp and OH on full parental/house husband/cook/cleaner duties. Im useless. Baby can stay put, im in no hurry, but these final few weeks are really hard work and definitely a toll on your body. 14 days and counting...

Sorry to hear some of you are so uncomfortable :( I haven't reached this stage yet so making the most of feeling relitively well if I'm honest.... defo still time lol.

Hunger his hit me today.. I have been ravenous all afternoon!!

Anyone suffered with really bad headaches from 34/35 weeks? I've had them on and off for last few days and there getting annoying now
Xx

I've invested in one of those johnsons boxes a while ago, paid full price though.. Boohoo! Going to have a gander at the Asda baby event tomorrow see if there are any other bargains.

As we are bottle feeding now, we are in two minds whether to invest in the tonmee topoee prep machine. Anyone got one or are most breast feeding?

How quickly do you feel human after you've had baby? I'm getting annoyed with myself oo'ing & ahh'ing with pain whenever I bloody move!

Xx

My new stress is steriliser - says keeps sterile for 24hrs if u keep the lid on, but I'll want to use one bottle and keep remaining sterile for when I need them, how???

Am so sorry haven't updated you ladies but very quickly our little girl was born at 12.50 last night. Haven't settled on a name yet as she came out with the cord round her neck and is all squished but hopefully getting better! 7lb 2 and quite chubby looking!
