*******February mummies 2015*******

It's all becoming a bit real here too.

My mum arrived today so she can help with DDs as my section is Friday...!!!

Had a slight panic that baby seat won't fit in car as DDs still both in pretty big car seats. Haven't checked yet...rather be ignorant for the rest of today, lol.

Mt god its hard isn't it! A didn't realise the after pain of a c section! Then to have to look after baby alone for the night! My cathiter is out now and I can slowly walk about! Worried about tonight as feel I can tell when bladder full but don't realise how full til get up! Maisie is.of course perfect lol, but at night very clingy and crying! Then the day an angel!!!!
I had bad cramp in leg this morning and they suspected a blood clot so I need to be scanned and stay in hospital tonight+ but as I said to the doc I know it's not as feel fine but still want to scan me in the morning! Then home! !!
All worth it tho hey! How are you all doing? Xx

Rachel-don't remind me of post c sec pain...I'll be feeling it on Friday!

There have been loads of babies now...come on the rest!

MrsT - you ready for Wednesday?

DH said today that it hasn't really sunk in that we're having a baby. I agreed, which worried him, lol! I think it will only feel real when I'm getting in my gown for theatre.

Anyone else in denial???

Yeh as ready as we'll ever be haha...... Rachel is scaring me slightly. How about you?

Hubby as started with a 'nervous tummy' so god help us Tuesday night when we are driving up there haha. I do feel huge today tho.. like my stomach skin is sooo stretched.

Xx

Sorry mrs t don't be scared least u know your having one I was sure I never would - partly due to my blood condition but as Maisie ' s heart beat dropped had no choice!
Mrs t I would do it all again if I had to!
Your mentally prepared so you will be just fine.

Sorry to scare you! X

Well nice to see we have lots of babies due to be born this week!!
And congrats to anyone iv missed out on saying congrats to!!

Charlie is now miles better and even has the same sleeping routine he had inside me, so just shows how fast they get into a decent routine, still waiting to hear about his tongue tie for the snip but hopefully that will be sorted soon.

Me on the otherhand, im not so lucky... Turns out the stitches iv had down there have split and are causing me some real pain and has left quite a gap, so i have to make a desision 2mz weather to let it heal and see or get it re-cut and re stitched!
So really not looking forward to either of the options tbh as im just about managing to walk a decent distance, and be able to sit on the couch and be slightly comfy lol!

Hope everyone else is ok xx

Don't apologise hun... its not your fault you haven't had the best experience with it all. Im prepared for it to be painful so I can cope with that.... not sure how much I could cope with being in pain during when you build yourself up for the epidural to work. I do hope you start to feel better soon

Xxx

:(... still here frustrated 3 days over !!! another sweep and stretch booked for tomorrow .. still no pains show, NOTHInG ... so not even gonna get my hopes up.. . wanna cry ;( .

Mrs T - I'm not scared, this is my third section and I found the other two really good?

Hello everyone, just quickly dropping by to catch up with you all. has becky had her baby now?

Wont be long for the rest of you now.

MrsT dont be scared for csec. I was terrified as it all happened to fast. On the way to the hospital my main concern was that they would send me home again because my contractions had slowed down again and i was so drained after having them for 38 hours and no sleep. When they examined me and said i was 7cm i was so happy but then i could see in the mw face something was wrong. She left the room and someone else came to examine me and said she was breech. I became hysterical. I have always been terrified of having surgery but knew it was the safest option. I didnt feel a thing during the procedure or for a good few hours after but i have to say im in quite alot of pain now. Going to speak to mw today as worried im reacting to the dihydrocodeine tablets they have given me as keep having these uncontrollable shaking episodes?!

I had a section MrsT - yes it's sore but if you are in real pain it means you / them aren't on top of the pain control. When I left I was giving two types if pills and assumed 1 was pain killer, they were both antibiotics, so I had no pain relief for 3 days, yes I was sore but it was bearable. When I realised I took paracetamol and it didn't hurt. Just feels like a mild bruise. My milk coming in though - ouch, that pain was worse!

I'd much rather have c-section wound than stitches in my froof :)

Hey ladies- for those that haven't seen Finley Was born yesterday at 2.28pm. Managed to avoid being induced and delivered him naturally - all 10lb 12oz of him!!

Feeling ok this morning- bit stiff and sore but in love with my little man xx

Mrst thinking of u can't belive you will be having little one soon how exciting

We got midwife at 12.30 hopefully be able to tell us more as sick of waiting one day late helen is getting a lot of period pain but that's really it hoping we get s sweep today and it might start xx

Congrats to all our new mommies, they are coming thick and fast now!

Mrs T don't worry about the section I was expecting the pain to be a lot worse, but it was fine and I was happy to give up the morphine (great stuff!) and go home the next day, and I'm a big fat wuss! The catheters are brilliant too after needing to pee every five minutes for the past few months!!

It should have been my due date today, can't believe my baby is almost 4 weeks old xxx
