February 2016 Mamas!!

Oh really Ruby? Since I told my mum I'm anemic she's been making me iron-packed flapjacks by the batch and they're full of cockroaches (I mean, dates). I hate them but I put a bit of nutela with them and it helps to go down lol!
Haven't heard they're good for a short labour though, bonus!

Yeah she's lovely, but such a worrier! I had some sticky toffee pudding the other night, with glazed dates on the top.. does that count? ;)

I had a show last night, shortly after sex some of my mucus plug came out. I called the midwife and she assured me that that doesn't necessarily mean I'm about to go into labour (phew!) - still a few more weeks away. I did some swimming aerobics today and my god, was it a workout?! I think i'll stick to the yoga from now on!

Hey! How's everyone doing?
Have we had any Feb mamas giving birth yet?

All good with me, the reality is finally kicking in that we're going to be 3 in a few weeks. I am currently ironing all the baby clothes after washing them (perfect timing for the tumble dryer to break, ey?!).

It's very quiet in Feb mums at the min isn't it Molly, hopefully people are having babies! :D
It's my first day of mat leave today, been for a lovely swim
& already started on the nesting & bleaching lol!
No signs of impending labour over here, probably comfy like his brother!

Im seeing consultant on wednesday hoping il be early to mid feb mum rather than the end feb as i have the OC itch and im not prepared to risk going over 38weeks xx

Ah congrats on finishing work Cait :) must be a good feeling! No signs of impending labour here either though, which is good as I'm not physically ready yet.

Oh poor you Kaz, fingers crossed you'll be a little early. You're due a day after me :)

Hello! Yeah, it has been quite here
I have some news Will have news soon, not yet, going for induction tomorrow! Keep fx or me Being induced 38 weeks due to gestational diabetes.

Nothing cracking off here, although hoping it will soon! Baby still breech unfortunately. Still hoping for a breech natural birth but starting to entertain the idea of a c sec - sooooo uncomfy with a head in my ribs/sternum constantly...

Wow how exciting, fingers crossed for you Inga that all goes well :)
Glad to hear everyone's okay x

Hi everyone, been very busy so haven't had much time to post. I had another growth scan yesterday with the end result being they want to induce me probably next week as babies growth has slowed considerably and they are concerned. They are letting me reach 37 weeks full term and then that's me in for induction!

Not quite what I had in mind but going with the flow and trying to be as relaxed as possible

Good luck Pumpkin, I'm sure it's for the best and you'll be having cuddles with your baba in no time. Keep us updated! :)

Good luck pumpkin you will be fine induction is great in my experience xx

Hi everyone, great to hear that everyone's ok and that we have some babies on the way- so exciting- good luck Inga and Pumpkin! I've been feeling a bit down- not sure why as I'm not usually prone to depression. Hopefully I'll be back to my normal self in a few days :-)

Hey everyone I've been floating around but nothing to report seems like baby is comfy in there at the minute! I'm 40 weeks on Monday 1st git a sweep booked in hopefully something happens soon I'm tired and sore and like you ruby been rather down and cry like a baby for nothing lately

Today was the first day I woke up and was quite disappointed to still be pregnant! Must be the 'nearly there' blues!!

I know what you mean- I can't wait for the baby to be born now but still have 5 weeks to go- feels like forever. Good luck Suzanne :-)
