6w6d today! I can't believe I'll be 7w tomorrow!

How is everyone?

I'm 7 weeks today and I am ecstatic! I have my first scan on Thursday (I had IVF) so cannot wait to make sure everything is as it should be. I can't quite believe it either! Hope the sickness wears off soon Wednesday xxx

Yeah Wednesday its good to see the weeks marching on for you, I feel ok just boobs aching a little (led here in bed), no pains yet today haha. Thinking about toast yum.

Morning everyone!!

I'm feeling ok today, no symptoms to report really. I'm off to do a little shopping later, going to get a CB digi!! My OH is currently away with work, although I did tell him yesterday I think I'll do the digi and send him a pic since it's his first ever Father's Day!

Love a CB digi! I did them until they went to 3+ which was both wonderful and terrifying at the time waiting for it!

Good luck for you scan melmodz. I had one at 6w and 6w4d and saw a little blob with a heartbeat so you should see something a bit more interesting! Xx

Oooooh that's exciting! Glad it went well for you. Are you also going through IVF or did you have early scans done privately?

I can't wait to hear the heartbeat. I've been dreaming of it for 3 years xxx

No IVF here, I just felt worried so went for a private scan!

7 weeks today and suffering hideously from the heat. I'm usually a summer gal but it's really getting to me at the moment.

Still not even got my booking appointment date so I need to give them a call.

Looking forward to it cooling down (and I never say that lol)

So what are everyone's plans with regards to finding out the gender?

I found out with my son, so think we will have a surprise this time!

We were gonna find out but have decided to have a surprise this time. Had to pursuade hubby a bit tho x

It's been too hot here for me today, we have been to a country fair and walking around it the heat has exhausted me!
We won't be finding out the gender I don't think, we didn't with our first either x

Im one of those that doesn't wait for anything!
I like to buy everything well in advance and will be purging on pink or blue!!
That's right im going to be really annoying!
Im a charity shop addict so I will buy loads of stuff in advance, I dont mind if its not new, im a big believer in recycling and ecology.
Really wish I had a lovely big chocolate gateaux right now, but I dont. Mint imperial anyone?? Xx

Just to clarify, not finding out the sex has not stopped me from buying clothes haha! I'm awful... I have no less than 30 sleepsuits, oops.....

If all is ok at the 12 week scan I'll start charity shopping for newborn and 1 months clothes as I sold all of my DD until 18 months sizes.... exciting

I like to plan everything to the most minute detail, I'm already figuring finances out and other stuff, I only found out on Friday, however I want it to be a surprise! We'll see whether I change my mind before then though!

My SIL (OH's sister) is also pregnant, she's having her 20 week scan this week and planning to find out so I thought it might be nice to know what one of the babies is and keep the other a surprise for everyone.

I deffo feel ya on the finances front. I will sit down next week and work out how much we need to save so that I can have 1 year off work again. It will be harder this time round with DD in nursery as half my wages pay for that each month!

I am so glad I am only 6 weeks pregnant and not 41 weeks like I was this time 3 years ago. I was so hot and swollen. It will be such a change having a winter baby...
