** Due in February 2018 **

Wednesday I have arrhythmia as well and def noticing a few more palpitations, assuming it's quite normal though. Iv got a terrible cold as well at the minute, thanks to my three year old so not feeling great at all!

Good Morning everyone :)
I still don't have any real unbearable symptoms- Just tender breasts, the occasional belly cramp, tiredness and this morning i felt my first bit of queasyness!

I've got my booking in appointment on the 27th and i've booked myself a private scan for the 2nd July!
I'm super excited as it's my first pregnancy and feel really impatient!

Morning all,

i woke up fine and aside from very minor breast tenderness and the need to eat lots and lots of food, I dont have any other symptoms

Also why are alot of women opting for private scans?

Sorry, im a beginner here!

I'm a beginner too, it's my first pregnancy. A private scan is costing me £83.00 (i live in London)
They can do early reassurance scans.
I'm having mine at 8 weeks just so i can see a heartbeat ect... I just want reassurance really as it is my first.
I'm too impatient to wait for my 12 week scan!

I live in London too so it must be the going rate here.

it's actually not very expensive if you think about it and well worth it for the reassurance as you say. I might look into it too.

I wish they could see the gender of the baby in this scan lol. Im so eager to know so I can start decorating the room and buying clothes/baby stuff :p

My private scan was £45. I opted for it for reassurance. I wanted to check there was a heartbeat before I told my boss at work

Do you think breastfeeding stops your boobs getting big? I only feed on one side and worried that that side won't grow and the other will be massive (.)( . ) arghhhh!

Are you still feeding?

I breastfed my son for 19 months and both of my boobs are huge now at 6w3d x

Yeah, but only once a day and that's only if I do bedtime which I don't do every night. There's still milk in the boob I use but not so much in the boob I don't use. The one I don't use is feeling a bit lumpy but not bigger yet.

I'm gonna look odd. Ha ha ha

Hi all,

We had a private scan at 9 weeks with our DD for the same reasons: I wanted to be sure before I told my Mum and to reassure myself it was all ok. I won't be having an early scan thIs time as for us, visually, it wasn't worth it as baby was just a little tadpole and it made me worried for some odd reason despite it all being ok.

I am starting to get a darn cold with sore throat and cough which I really don't want. Especially as I am so busy at work st the moment. Hoping the vitamins kick in.... I only started taking them a few days ago as I had no idea I was pregnant until last Friday! I feel so ill prepared!

Does anyone else feel really pumped? Like full of nervous energy? It feels like the day I went into labour when I knew things were going to happen. Like I've drunk loads of coffee or red Bull? Hormones?

Xx

5 Weeks tomorrow!, finally plucked up the courage to tell my mum and dad im pregnant..I did do it over text as ive been terrified about it all day to where i literally was shaking trying to phone them! :/, with Sebastian i didn't tell them until i was 21 weeks! I always vowed id never do that again hence why im telling them earlier than i did last time! They haven't replied yet which is making me so nervous :(, incase their angry or disappointed..Its not the anger thats bothering me its the disappointment that hurts more :(..Hopefully ill wake up to a text from them tomorrow and everything will be alright!

Im really hoping they dont think ive done this maliciously to outshine my SIL who is having my niece next week, that was never my intention :(

Had slighty nausea this morning, backache, headache, sensitive boobs (and their starting to darken too),

Hi everyone, I cant sleep as just got my BFP and apparently due 28th Feb, so im jumping on this thread!!
I have a fifteen year old but this is mine and oh first baby together, we have had early mcs so im scared to death but over the moon at the same time!!
Nice to see you sebbies mum xx

Congrats tree trunks and welcome to the 1st tri. Had you been ttc for long?

Sebbies mum I'm glad you felt brave enough to tell your mum and dad and I hope you get some good texts from them soon. Keep us posted!

I did another cbdigi this morning (1 week after my first test) and got 3+ weeks so that's a nice reassurance that my hcg levels are rising the way they should and means no more tests for me now just the scan to wait for :)

Just had my scan at the hospital! All fine, little heart beating away. 6w4d today x

I had a scan yesterday.

The midwife sonographer was very pleased but I'm a bit concerned. There was a tiny baby with a heartbeat but It was only measuring 6 weeks and I should be closer to 7. Having said that, she did do the measurements very quickly and abdominally as I was busting for the toilet.

So I have another agonising wait to see if all is ok!

That's great you got your Digi 3+, all im waiting for now a cb Digi 3+ weeks in another week or so and an early scan!!
Soooo excited I can't think of anything else!
Lovely to meet you all, hopefully make some good friends on this little thread xxx

So much to catch up on.

TORino, I know it's easy for me to say but measuring a little small at this stage shouldn't be too disconcerting? And seeing a HB is amazing. When are you back?

Congratulations to everyone who has seen their little beans and to all those with their new BFP's.

I'm an extended breastfeeder, my little one is 2y 4m and still feeds (not even just at night!!!) and so far it's been fine? Is my milk likely to dry up though? Or does anyone know what happens?

I've decided against an early scan this time. Although if I get desperate I may well book myself one.

Hi Torino (we are booking to go to Torino/Turi in July so I'm loving your name at the moment).

I had a scan at 9 weeks with my DD. Although it was a relief to see heartbeat for me I also found it a real worry. Baby still looked like a tadpole rather than a small human, wasn't moving that you could see and also dated me a few days out due to size of baby. It put me off so much and so was different from the 12 weeks scan that I wouldn't do it again.

Please do remember that their measurements are never an exact science. My close friend was told she might have to be induced because her son was so huge especially his head. She ended up going overdue and laboured naturally and he was a normal 8lb!!! I have zero faith in any of their dating and measuring and just enjoy the sound or view of baby's heart :)

xx
