The sickness arrived.

I was playing Xbox and felt sick. Like, really sick. So off I run to the bathroom. Get there and I felt fine.

Headed downstairs and the moment I got to the bottom..
Nausea again.

Baby is a fully fledged troll already.

So I just threw up for the first time and I am absolutely ecstatic.

it came on randomly and I dont feel ill or anything.

It's always us who have been trying for a while who get weird isn't it lol. We can't wait for the gory bits

On the caffeine, be really careful. So many teas have it in sometimes quite high amounts. There's also the issue of different manufacturers using different amounts so I'd say always worth checking.

Pepsi Max is 62mg per 12floz so actually pretty high in caffeine and so are even lots of decaf products.

I was gutted to see that my decaf coffee still had enough that I should only have a couple of cups a day and same with the tea.

It's such a minefield and not something I would obsess over as I think in moderation things should be okay, but it's worth knowing.

Marketing has a lot to answer for!

Thanks. The tea I drink I have verified as caffeine free and I don't go a bundle on Pepsi max but I do find a can settles my stomach if I'm feeling off.

It is a minefield though definitely especially since I cannot drink a lot of other soft drinks and I'm not a fan of water.

I had hyperemesis in my first pregnancy and if this one sticks (bled a bit last 36 hours) I am really hoping I don't get it again. The ONLY thing I could cope with drinking was full fat coke from either McDonalds or the local pub that my ex used to collect for me. Bottles or cans were no good. It had to be the syrup mix coke.

We should of course be as careful as possible, but anything is better than nothing when the alternative is dehydration xx

Anyone else had odd popping sensations like bubbles popping in uterus area? It's only been twice but feels weird.

Yeah I think I've had this a few times now. I'd describe as feeling as though someone is drumming their fingers inside me rather like you would with your nails on a table or something. Really bizarre!

Weird one, but can anyone else feel their uterus above their pubic bone??

This happened for me at 14 weeks last time... but I can 100% feel it a good inch or so above my pubic bone and I'm only 9 weeks ..

I have been told a few times that a second pregnancy, you can feel things change sooner than the first. X

This is my first pregnancy and I am pretty sure I can feel my uterus too! There is an obvious mound protruding right where my pant line is and in the evenings its slightly bigger and more firm.
Felt some popping too. Just amazed at my body right now!x

Just had a scan... 9w2d by my dates, baby measuring 9w so we will see what happens at the actual dating scan for an accurate date.

It was amazing though! Baby has grown sooo much and was wriggling about!

Not me but I have free prescriptions anyway. Medical certificate.
I'm looking forward to the Mat b1 so I can put the maternity leave wheels in motion and apply for a bigger house.

Oooh lovely news.

I'm still 5 weeks away from mine. I don't think I'm going to be sane by then. But hubs doesn't want a private scan. Said it's a waste of money unless there's a reason for it.

Makes sense. I have anxiety disorder. I'm already worrying constantly. I Would be booking them daily ... just to be sure.

I normally have an early scan but we aren't this time so I'm going to be mega nervous for scan day lol.

Great news Wednesday. Hope you feel reassured!

I have another scan soon. I'm crapping it. I'd rather have fewer scans because I don't like them. I don't get reassured for longer than 10 minutes after the appointment.

I do feel very reassured now! Especially with it wriggling around, amazing.

It's the second scan I've had - just call me paranoid haha
