***December babies! Tri 2 :) ***

Oh JoeyClare that's my fear too! Having said that I have scans for 28, 34, 36 and 40 weeks so I'll ask each time hahaha! X

Good plan Vic! Extra confirmation is always good. I know they rarely get it wrong, but I just think it'd be typical if it ended up being me it happened to. Haha. If my two scans say something different then I guess I'll just be team yellow!

My hospital say don't ask about gender but I had to get a further blood test last week to do with the Down's syndrome screening and they asked if I wanted to find out the gender from the blood test. I didn't know they could confirm from a blood test. Said no anyway cause I want it to be a surprise.

Congratulations on your baby boy Nicki, lovely news!

We're hoping to be team yellow but having extra scans at 28 and 34 weeks so not finding out is going to be tough not to take a peak!

We're going on holiday a week today. I'm feeling really rubbish about myself in all my bikinis and dresses, I've only gained a bump, no weight. But my boobs are massive and making me really conscious. They've always been big but this is outrageous. I'm trying not to be so hard on myself and how I look! Xx

Leah, I feel like a blimp! I've just ordered a few more maternity bits. I just feel huge. Saw a pic of that Ferne McCann from Towie in her bikini with her little bump. Pretty sure she's about a month ahead,,but she looks so compact and neat. I'm only 5ft 2 with a short torso, so baby can only find room outwards!! I'm not a summer fan with clothes as it is, it's worse when you're pregnant!

I could have written that, I feel exactly the same and yes being a short arse makes it even worse. Especially one with massive boobs! Urgh I'm feeling rotten about myself. I don't want to look like a teletubby by the pool! Xx

Congratulations Mumbear!

MrsS I got a lot of clothes in Superdry for my holiday, it was the only place I could find flattering fitting clothes x

I'm feeling so frumpy at the moment! Only when I'm standing do I have a big bump so just feeling fat! Got a few things maternity wise which helps but I'm bursting out of clothes despite being pregnant as I've put on weight this last year and I haven't worn jeggings for weeks! Leggings or baggy trousers! But there's only certain tops you can wear with those so feel like I'm wearing the same thing all the time!

How are you all doing today? Any scans this week? X

I can sympathise with all the clothes dilemmas, I went to mothercare at the weekend and thought I'd look in the sale - why does everything have horizontal stripes!!! I'm feeling wide enough as it is without adding to the illusion!!!

We have our 20w scan on Wednesday, starting to feel scared!!

Ooh Claire, I go against the grain and think horizontal stripes make me (and others) look smaller! I never thought of looking in Mothercare maternity sale. I might look online as nearest is 25 mins away.

Ooh exciting for Wednesday! And scary...ours is Monday and I'm terrified with no movement X

Hey CCL94, just letting you know that we're team blue!!

For the stripes I think it depends on body type and they definitely don't help me!!

I'm new to all this but it says that no movement is usual at this stage. I think I have movement but I'm also convincing myself that it might just be wind!!!

Congrats on team blue!

Haha I always complain about the stripes too. I don't know why that seems to be the standard "style".

I booked a gender scan for next Tuesday, convinced it's a girl so we'll see what my intuitions like.

This is embarrassing but in Scotland it's standard to refer women with a bmi over 30 to an activity specialist who finds fitness classes etc for you and does a fitness plan etc! I called called for my appointment today and I'm kind of pleased as I enjoy classes etc, just can't justify the money. I'm embarrassed though as they are for really overweight people or those with chronic health conditions and whilst I could loose 3 stone I'm not massive!x

Congratulations Ser! I got a scan gender correct for a change haha!

Yeah no movement is ok at this stage. Expecting an anterior placenta again. X

Congratulations ser on another precious boy. I wonder if we'll be full of December boys!!

I had to give in and get maternity jeans today, got lovely comfy ones from new look. H&M had really nice ones too but I'll go get them after holiday! I'm having a nightmare with bikinis for holiday, my boobs are in a size 18 top but I'm still a 10 down bottom. Couldn't get any mix and match, there was every size but what I needed. Got maternity denim shorts though which I'm pleased with! I've seen a lot of stripes too, they don't do anything for me either!!

Belfa those classes sound great. Hope you enjoy them!

Lots of luck for all the 20 week scans, how exciting. Mine isn't until 10th of August, still feels forever away xx

Lots of lovely boys! Our gender scan is in 4 days. :) can't wait. Then my NHS one is 6 days later. Plan on buying a gender specific sleepsuit after our scan on Saturday, but keep the receipt in case the NHS one has a different view!! 8 days till the end of term and I'm so tired. Need to sort out my classroom as well, as I'm not going to be in there in September! I had a really nice fitted striped dress from mothercare with my first pregnancy. Found a similar one in different colours on the ASOS website, haven't tried it on yet, but think it's the kind of dress I'll be able to wear with flip flops in the summer or tights and a cardi in autumn.

So lovely all these gender reveals, congrats ladies.

We have 85% confirmation of a girl. Got my 20 week scan next Wednesday so, even though we weren't going to find out, I think I will. I've always convinced myself that I'll have 2 boys, so I'll be in denial if they confirm girl haha!

Bought our last 3 bits, chicco next to me crib, sleepyhead and car seat. Call me organised but I want to just relax and have everything done. Been problem after problem so I'm just enjoying it now! I'll pack my hospital bag at 30 weeks and I'll be done hahaha xx
