***December babies! Tri 2 :) ***

I haven't bought one thing yet! Going to wait til after my 20 week scan & then start.
I've had to text my Midwife this morning. I'm now over 17 weeks & I haven't gained any weight. Haven't weighed myself since the weekend & ive lost 4lb. Doesn't seem like a lot but I'm not big as it is. I'm not starving myself or anything & eating what I fancy, she was abit concerned when I saw her last week that I hadn't gained anything so I don't know what her response will be to this

Been for my 20 week scan, baby is good size and everything appears ok. However, it was lying on its tummy, upside down and refused to move! So we have to go back in 3 weeks for another scan to get the measurements she couldn't today! Couldn't even get a picture!!!

Think I have a terror on my hands!

GF91 - she might refer you to a dietician. Hope everything's ok. I lost nearly 2 stone when I was 5 weeks pregnant as I caught the norovirus twice, so I've been referred.

Claireyt - oh that's such a pain. Glad you get another scan though, that's something to look forward to xx

Claire- I had the same with my first born. They had me dancing, jogging, drinking more, but she wouldn't move. She couldn't get a clear view of the 4 chambers of the heart, so we had to go back 3 weeks later. We got one photo from the scan, but to be honest it looked more like a dolphin than a baby. It was nice having an extra scan though. I'm hoping Baby plays ball for our gender scan this week and our 20 week scan next week. At the 12 week scan, it took 40 minutes to get the measurements because baby would not stay still at all!

Thanks babe. I spoke to her. She's not overly concerned as long as I don't loose anymore. I reassured her that I'm not in anyway dieting or restricting what I eat- but I'm on my feet all day!

My mums had an awful flu bug for the last week... & now I have it! I'm hacking up green crap from my chest. Doctors tomorrow...

Hope you feel better soon GF91. A bug is not what you need when you're a bit worried about weight gain. Baby will be taking what they need though. Maybe try a few higher calorie snacks. I sometimes have one of those Cathedral City cheeses that are individually wrapped.

Today has been eventful. I was on playground duty and one of the children ran straight into me. I tried to get on, but realised I was starting to well up and so went inside and felt a bit bad as another member of staff had to cover my duty. Work have been really good though. They checked I was ok and then let me come home this afternoon as I was out of class on planning time anyway, so I've got my work on the sofa with me. I'm not going to be allowed to do outside duty anymore and neither will my colleague who is also in upper ks2 as we are both due a day apart. I've had no pain or bleeding and I've felt baby move a few times since, I think it was just the shock. I feel awful though as the young girl who ran into me has been really upset.

JoeyClare that sounds like a tough day, hope your feeling ok. Must have been a shock for you and the little girl. It's good your work have realised the hazard and taken you off outside duty.

I have my 20 week scan next week and was just wondering if someone can tell me if I need to drink water before it like the 12 week scan? The letter doesn't say anything about it.

Debz you don't HAVE to, but I think for any scan it's better to have some fluid in there as it still helps them to see baby. I plan not to be bursting for the loo but not have a totally empty bladder either x

I'm same as you. Two boys and now preg with a wee girl. I have my 20 week scan on Thursday. Just hoping the 16 week gender scan was correct lol x

Congrats mummyto3! My scan is tomorrow. So excited. I'm happy either way. Have a little girl, but would love 2 girls or one of each would be nice as well. I literally have no feelings on what I think the gender is either. Sometimes I think boy as baby is very wriggly (not a scientific conclusion) and other times I think girl as the skull shape was similar to my daughter. Mostly though, I'm clueless,

I am convinced I'm having a girl which is another reason why I feel I need to have a gender scan as I am so sure that I've been looking at girl Nursery's, names and clothes haha! I'll be happy either way but I need to prevent buying pink on a hunch!

I have to admit I do get more drawn to the cute little pink outfits, but I think that's because I'm quite pink and girly. I'm hoping to buy something gender specific tomorrow as the Next sale begins tomorrow! I'm just hoping baby shows us what we want to see!

I'm also pretty convinced we are having a girl but we won't be finding out (not on purpose anyway but I'm meant to be getting extra scans towards the end so we might by accident)! So far I've just bought a snuzpod, but had a dream last night that the baby came early and we had both else so had to leave it at the hospital while we panic bought everything!

I'm convinced I'm having a boy and hubby is convinced it's a girl. We aren't finding out though, well I think we aren't

We bought the cot yesterday, only because it had £100 off so couldn't knock that back. My mums keeping it for us for a while though. We're off on holiday tomorrow for a week so when we're back we're going to concentrate on getting more in, it's my 20 week scan on the 10th of August so possibly get it all in after that!

How's everyone feeling? I'm 16+3 and still puking every day. I'm feeling lots of baby pokes though which is lovely xx
