***December babies! Tri 2 :) ***

Sorry I need a rant!

There is someone at work who is really starting to get to me about this pregnancy and I'm starting to feel like it's borderline bullying! Last week in the heatwave she refused to allow us to have the air con on and actively turned it off when I put it on, described my bump as hideous and now today has made various comments about me eating toast! During morning break I got two slices of toast from the canteeen - she said 'what are you eating now' so I made a silly comment about baby wanting carbs. To which she replied 'you do realise your baby has no concept of food, it is your mind that is craving calorific food and it's you who are ruining your body'!!!!!

So angry!!

Sorry you never got to hear the heartbeat vic, it's disappointing. My 16 week appointment is with the consultant when I'll be 15 weeks so I'm positive I won't get to hear it. I've got a Doppler at home though and regularly listen in myself so I don't feel as bad about it! When is your next appointment?

Good luck to the others with their appointment this week!

Claire you're being very tolerant of that person in work. Are you normally the type of person to answer back? If you are tell her if she has another opinion she'd like to share then to take it and ram it up her own arse. If you aren't like that then maybe speak to her nicely and say you don't appreciate her comments and lack of support. All else fails go to your supervisor? I would definitely try speaking to her first if you can. If she's rude to you then you can say to a boss that you e approached the situation yourself and didn't get a good response from her. Don't let her carry on any longer; her nastiness is getting worse xx

Vic - dinner was incredible. I have such bad indigestion now though.

Claireyt - are you joking? I'd have literally been calling her every name under the sun, how have you not snapped? That's disgusting. She doesn't have kids does she? xx

I'm really calm at work so I said something like 'oh I didn't realise I'd asked for advice!' But then I come home and fume!!

I had a gender scan today and I'm having a girl. So shocked! I expected a boy.x

Good for you managing to stay calm, if you do snap she'll fully deserve it!

Congratulations baby1201, what do you have already? Xx

Me too Lulu! I have heartburn every day on and off but things seem to set it off!

Ooh baby that's lovely. Congratulations.

Claire that is absolutely ridiculous - I remember you saying about her previous comment. How rude! How do people even think of saying this kind of stuff and they're always the ones who get away with it? It's like she's talking to a child and patronising you. I think you either need to speak to her about it or someone higher up if it continues. I take it she's no friend?! Or friend of a friend at work? She sounds petty and jealous too. Weirdo! Sorry - I'm annoyed on your behalf!

I have 2 boys, this is going to be my last baby so I'm secretly pleased it's a girl x

It must have been a sausage and mash day yesterday as I had that too!

Congratulations baby, will be lovely to have a girl with you already having 2 boys, I'm sure they will be protective of her!

Omg Claire, that is so rude. To be honest it sounds like she has problems but I definitely think it's worth having a word with her. I don't know how I would react if someone said anything like that to me, think I'd be too shocked to say anything!

We've been doing some more travel system research and I'm liking the look of the kiddy car seats that have a lie flat option. They aren't quite as heavy as the cybex cloud one and I'm hoping we like it when we go in to see them. I still feel like I'm tempting fate to buy anything yet though. Tomorrow was my original due date from my first miscarriage so I think that's affecting me just now.

Baby1201 - fantastic news that's brilliant, cuffed for you.

Joeypops - I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, I hope it isn't too upsetting for you. It's ok to feel excited and get prepared for this rainbow baby though, don't feel guilty.

For anyone having their rainbow baby, I don't a beautiful rainbow sleepsuit and matching hat from Jojo Maman Bebe xx

Had my 16 week appt today. All ok. When I was pregnant with Elin, they didn't offer heartbeat till 25 weeks, but she offered it this time and just explained that if she couldn't hear it, she wouldn't be worried. Well we did hear it. 150bpm. :) Elin Loved it.

I think work have approved my scan appt and GTT. They asked for them to be changed. Moved my GTT, but my scan couldn't be changed, so my letters were photocopied to give to our office manager.

I've really wanted another girl for most of this pregnancy so far, but today is the first time I've really felt I'm 50:50 on gender which is a nice feeling!

Claire- well done for managing to stay calm. I'm similar to you. I'll be calm at work and then go home and have a massive rant.

Joeypops- hope you feel ok tomorrow x

Baby1201- exciting about your girl after 2 boys!

I know Lulu, it's just difficult to shake off the anxiety that something might go wrong, particularly just now with things being in my thoughts more than normal.

That's lovely Joeyclare, I don't have my 16 week appointment until I'm 17 weeks so have a couple of weeks to wait. Really hoping she'll try to find the heartbeat for me, would love to hear it! I didn't think your work could refuse to give you time off, but glad it's all being sorted out
