December babies 2016 **last babies of the year**

Awww thanks blondie it's the section procedure and stuff and been in theatre, hospitals scare me lately I'm trying to stay positive but it's very hard at times too. There cheap in primark the nighties didn't want to get something expensive when itl get ruined anyway. It definitely is natural to worry a little tho your right there. Oh wow Sophia glad your home, how's little one settling in? Can't wait to see pics of little baby :) x

SIB not had pre clampsia myself but I've read that ppl sometimes don't realise they have it, how is your vision and are u getting head aches? Best to get everything checked out to be on safe side. I'm sure theatre staff no what there doing as my partner keeps reminding me it's just wrong time of year with my anxiety too it goes crazy with the dark mornings dark nights x

I didn't have pre eclampsia with my son but had much higher blood pressure than I do now around 140 systolic and my ankles were crazy swollen I needed to wear support stockings and had to take my wedding and engagement ring off my 32 weeks as my hands were so puffy, I also had headaches but I think I wasn't drinking enough.

Baby has been quite quiet again I feel today I'm feeling quite light movements I can still feel something but blink and you would miss it

Ok ignore what I just said she's moving loads now and going bonkers maybe she's just a night owl lol oh dear

Awww she's really keeping you on your toes already mummy :) my baby as light movements mostly but don't no if it's cushioned with my placenta been at front and him been back to back with me. I just want him here I hate the worries of pregnancy. Xx

Yeah its understandable! The thought of a c section scares me too! If I need to have one im going to have be put out cause the thought of me being awake makes me feel uncomfortable and anxious!

Definitely going to have a look in primark! Exactly, i dont want to spend lots of money on something thats going to end up in the bin anyway. MIL said she was going to give me her old ones but shes been saying that for the last 6 months!

No not had pre-eclampsia but the consultant thought i was at risk of it so she put me on aspirin at the start of the pregnancy. I suffer from high BP anyway so i was on Methyldopa since before the pregnancy and its doing the trick as my BP has been fine throughout. Maybe pop in cause otherwise its going to be playing on your mind till Tuesday, at least if you pop in you might get some peace of mind?

I've got my hospital nighties and some tops that button down from Primark too. I feel like everyone on the ward is going to be wearing the same thing

Hi ladies I've not been on here for ages I've just done my hospital bag and got some fab nighties and pjs from George online they are nursing ones with little clips to make it easier were fairly cheap too. Cannot believe the first December baby is here congratulations won't be long now until we're all meeting our little ones, can't wait xx

Hey ladies well sorry for tmi but keep needing toilet not for wee's gone about 3times in half hour and feel really aggitaged tonight as anyone had this yet? X

ikklemoi the only time I had that was when I was in labour.
My wee one is deffo very active today feels like some sort of alien encounter, I'm not too well at the moment rotten chest infection and have lost my voice so tired need a good night sleep before baby thinks of coming lol not physically or mentally prepared this time

I had that a couple of days ago. I reckon I ate something funny or it's the tablets! I tell you something though I can't stop peeing! I suppose climbing up and down the stairs all day long is keeping me fit haha!

I swear baby has moved down feel like I'm being stabbed in the lady bits so painful at times I was grabbing my husbands arm, really hoping to make it at least to December 1st......wait and see she will keep me 10 days over. Haha

Mummy I've been like that for about 2 weeks. Baby still isn't engaged though. She's just on my bladder. At times I feel her lower.
Second babies can pop in and out so I have wondered whether she's doing that. I've really struggled with this.. I don't drive and walk everywhere. And obviously it's worse when I walk lol xx

That's how I feel mummy and it hurts to bend down, getting so tired now tho as my iron is low still & not sleeping properly at all with anxiety. 23 more days not that am counting or anything lol.i hope little one comes on time for you been over is awful ain't it. A lady i kno as been in slow labour since early hours of Friday and only 2cm dunno if am actually glad I don't have to go through that process or not, still feeling a little sad about not been able to deliver naturally as sad as it sounds it feels like am missing the natural process of things x

Well that's a 'wonderful' new development. Just had my first experience of 'leaky boob' whilst cuddling my husband. He's changing his jumper as we speak ...
Got me a bit creeped out tbh. First time mummy so it's all seeming very real now. Only 34+3 and they tell me head is 'on the brim' already!

My babies head were brim at my last appointment at 34 weeks, this isn't my first baby tho, my first was in and out all the time, engaged at around 34 weeks and he was still 2weeks late he just really didn't wanna come out bless him. The leaky boobs is a good sign your body is getting ready for the baby, ano some ladies milk doesn't come until after baby as arrived. Think it's an amazing process how a woman's body adapts and prepares for birth. X

Yeh, in a way it's amazing. In another way, I feel very weird about it all.
I was actually surprised by my own reaction when I realised what had happened.
I kinda freaked out and kept apologizing. Husband was really nice about it all, but it just felt so strange to have had so little control over my own body. It was like being a young teenager again and feeling guilty for messing the bed when I got my first period. Again, I was never made to feel guilty about it, but I did nonetheless.

This whole experience has been one big learning curve for both of us. I'm just so grateful he has been so supportive. Now if only I could train him to load the dishwasher properly! lol

Do you think this is a sign that baby will be on it's way soon?
I'm due 29th December but I've felt all the way through like it will be earlier than that (though maybe that's wishful thinking!).

If it helps gecko my boobs can randomly leak anytime. My little girl is 2 years 5 months and it was still happening before I got pregnant haha not a lot though. And I didn't breastfeed.

Baby's can be engaged from really early on and still need to be induced at 42 weeks. Whereas someone might not be engaged but go into labour naturally at 37 weeks. Personally I believe it just happens when it happens.

I've been feeling really tired these last few days. I'm not sleeping very well :( boo! Lol

And lots of BH and backache. Keeping my eye on it. I actually thought I was starting off a few times over this weekend. Probably just over thinking it. Never had so many BH though lol

36 week scan tomorrow and consultant appointment :) should get a section date.. eek! Xx

Oh SIB I've had a lot of braxton hicks today and back ache too last night was pain in one side of my back, scares me in a way because even if a go into labour I'd be took straight down to theatre anyways. Ooooo gosh are you excited to get a date? I've had mine so long and still doesn't feel real at all, never kno we may end up having babies on the same date :) x

Oh my goodness I literally cannot walk with the pressure baby feels so low that I just think is it a matter of time before she pops out lol
Good luck tomorrow Slb!!! Bi have my 38 week review on Thursday so most likely I'll be called back in 2 weeks for a sweep if I've not gone before then
