December 2018 Testing Thread

Omg, Emma, somehow I missed your BFP post! Not sure how. Congrats!!! That’s amazing!!! Did you get any symptoms this month different to usual?

Thank you!
Main things I noticed was I always get backache and tender boobs after ov but I didn’t this cycle, and at 5 DPO I had loads of creamy CM which was new for me. X

I know ive asked this before...
i was looking at concieve plus 4g applicators for internal use on Amazon. it mentions that you are suppose to apply into the cervix?
*copied and pasted*
Gently insert the narrow end of the applicator deep into the cervix and squeeze the bulb end 2-3 times to deposit Conceive Plus into the cervical cavity

do you ladies really do this? and how? id be interested in giving it a go but have you ladies really applied *in* the cervix?

Oh nothing bad! :)
They can sometimes just be a bit busy because it's 9 months after Christmas and New Year! x

Edited to add: It's not that that's putting me off though - just know what my colleagues would say haha x

haha :) i've always wanted a September baby. Im due to ovulate 1st Jan, how cool is that? (providing cycle works the same as last 3!)
I've always wanted September bub as its my mums Birthday and if i succeed baby due 1 day before her birthday <3 nothing would love more!!

Kristen, yes that is how you would use the applicators for conceive plus. I would just buy the multi-use tube and apply it to your OH before you DTD. That's how i use it.

I can’t imagine putting it INTO the cervix... near the cervix sure. Hmm.

I do have the issue that baby will be due around hubby's birthday
This is us too ha ha baby is due 26th Aug his is 23rd and his little sis is the 25th ha. Its on the boarder of school too isn't it youngest in the year or oldest in the year. Xx

Yeah maybe your right with the guys being more comfortable ha ha. I find the application of those syringes ok I didn't actually use it this cycle and fell. I do feel the 7 seas helped though. I put the syringe in half way and squirted quick, I preferred pre seed the other one conceive plus burned a bit! Don't know why! Xx

The thought of poking into the actual cervix makes me shudder, x

There is no way you'd find the os of the cervix on your own to insert the applicator into! i really don't think they should be advising people to be doing that! I think inserting the applicator as deep into the vagina as you can (kind of like if you've ever used a vaginal pessary for thrush) is sufficient.

Tbf I have never felt my cervix or had any dealings with it loool so I wouldn’t no how to find it haha! X

Just an update from me also: CD 26 of a 27-28 day cycle. I had day 21 progesterone tested this month which was 36.9 which indicates I did ovulate this month (whoop!) but... FRER BFN this morning so I think it's safe to say that I won't be giving my husband the one present I wanted to put under the tree for him. I so wanted our year to end on a positive after such a horrendous few months.

I am sorry Sydney.
Here’s hoping that 2019 is your year and you will be celebrating your little ones 1st Christmas next year xx

Haha! - my nurse has struggled to access my cervix for a smear test with a speculum insitu!! There's no way you can get this stuff IN the cervix by yourself. I've never felt my own cervix either and I'm envious of people who can! :rotfl:
