December 2018 Testing Thread

Thanks. Not sure I can do this again though. I'm going to be depressed all day now. Maybe this TTC thing isn't for me.

You'll pick yourself back up Sock, it's early days for you and I know how disappointing it is trust me and it doesn't get any easier but you have to focus on the end goal and try to think of TTC as a journey to get there xx

Yes was giving him 10 quid. His dad is saying stuff to him like it's rediculous and I give your mum money etc. I'm like I'm pregnant with a 7 Yr old and a 13 old ha ha I've taken another test before my little boys nativity, oh it was so cute. I'll send the frer now. Aw a year, you'll get there hun, have you been docs for blood tests? xx

@Loumaro4 - That line is absolutely wonderful!!

I know you're all right. Unfortunately for me depression comes with the ASD (plus lots of other fun things like anxiety, sensory hypersensivity and dyspraxia lol) so if something sad happens I struggle to get past it. Everything seems like the end of the world. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

@Loumaro4 That really is an amazing line! :D

That's a great line Lou!

Oh Sock I'm sorry, it really isn't an easy time but I know you'll get there xx

Aw thanks I'm in shock, aww I feel for everyone trying it's so stressful, people say moving house and getting married are the most stressful but I think trying for a baby is. I do believe it will happen for everyone at some point though. Stay positive ❤️✨ thanks for advice on the washing up. I'm terrified of him going to his dad's worst fear it is!

Also I haven't a clue how many dpo them other tests where so faint I shared the 17th. This is the only month I couldn't be bothered as we moved shop and was so busy! And bam it happened xx

It's always hard after seeing a bfn that you feel so down. I remember after my 2nd cycle i had a massive melt down thinking it will never happen for me. It roughly takes 6-12 months for us to conceive. It will happen for us hun just when the time is right and this forum is excellent for letting it all out xx

Lou it seems to always be the way when your less stressed and more relaxed. x

Sock I know it's silly but are there more things you can take up like new activities or something.i started learning to drive and it's helped me fixate on something else. And I go to zumba and binge Netflix. Its so hard to take your mind off it isn't it. Xx

I know it's literally like 30%chance every month isn't it.. Crazy x

It honestly baffles me how anyone is alive.

Im sorry Sock, but that sentence really made me laugh
I really had no idea that it was actually not easy to conceive, they scare you all your life about accidental pregnancy.... *smh*

I read it’s actyally only a 20% chance every month which is what upsets me when someone says they got pregnant by mistake or they weren’t trying! X

They are not always being honest when they say it was an accident or weren’t trying, honestly you don’t miss one pill and get pregnant, it’s so unlikely, and there’s such a thing as the morning after pill anyway for when mistakes happen, I inwardly roll my eyes now when I hear someone saying they had an accident, don’t be too dispirited by it we all know the reality from this forum that it takes a fair bit of trying!

Can I ask has anyone had it were OPKs just haven’t worked for them? I’ve restarted using them this month. I last used them in August and I never got a positive then but got a BFP. I’m on CD13 and I’ve got a stark white negative. I usually ovulate on CD14 as far as I am aware. Has anyone else experienced this? X
